It is worth noting that the risk scores do not predict which health conditions you will develop will 100% certainty. The risk icon in your Health Reports tell you if you are at a higher or lower risk compared to other people, and they are solely based on genetics. Because there are other variables that will influence the emergence of certain conditions, or prevent others from developing, genes alone are not enough to diagnose a condition or predict the future. Many people are at high risk for diseases and conditions they never get, and vice versa. There are other factors, including lifestyle, environment, and overall health, that play an important role in determining how your genetic risks manifest in your life.
