Product Did Not Live Up To Their Claims

Product Did Not Live Up To Their Claims I purchased two of their LED lights for my 2003 Toyota Matrix. I am a normal driver where the car is running and the lights are on for at most 2 hours a day. My commute over the past two years has not been more than 30 minutes each way. About two years after I installed the product, both of the lights failed. Part of the reason I purchased the products was that their website made the claim in writing as part of the product description that "if you drive 10 hours every night, you can use it for 10+ years". I wrote to customer service and they responded quickly saying that they only backed their product for one-year. They told me that they would ask management if they could give me a 15% coupon for a discount on another product. In a back-and-forth email exchange (they did respond to my emails overnight which is good) I continued to express my displeasure with the product and their proposed 15% coupon and specifically mentioned their claim that they made in writing on their website and how the product did not meet the claim of 10+ years of use. The last email that I got from them stated that they would replace the product if I wrote a review. So... here it is. I am a bit confused why they would want a review from a dissatisfied customer before they would replace what I see as a defective product. So here it is... an honest review of two stars (not one star because their customer service responded quickly to my emails). I did my part so now I would like you to live up to your promise of replacing the product.

Unfortunately, once the warranty period has expired, we are unable to provide warranty replacement service. Based on the information you provided, it is likely that one of our customer service representatives previously applied for an extended warranty for your order as a special exception. However, our standard warranty policy covers products for one year only. If your order is beyond the one-year warranty period and no extended warranty has been approved, our customer service team is unable to arrange a warranty replacement. In addition, the lifespan of an LED bulb can vary depending on its actual operating conditions, such as the vehicle's electrical system, installation, usage frequency, and environmental factors.
