ScopioReviews of scop.io

I paid for monthly download of 30 images for year. After few months it stopped allowing me to download. It is a scam.

When they first launched they offered a "Unlimited Download" package (1k downloads a month)for a flat rate. After customers purchased this package they took back the deal, kept the money, and reduced the monthly downloads to.....10 haha. This is obviously completely illegal in every way. I contacted the CEO and her reply to the situation was "We are a small company and COVID hit us hard, we don't want to close. That's why we revoked the package". Ummmm.... that's your fault Christina, you can't just manipulate and steal from your earliest supporters and then constantly wave your moral banner all over the place.

I spent a considerable amount of time working on an illustration project and received nothing in return, while my work remained on the platform. The image review process is unfair and completely lacking transparency. They make promises they don’t keep, change the rules without notifying contributors, and delay payments. When you actually need support or assistance, they block you or ignore your messages. I regret trusting this company.

This is a joke of a company. The website doesn't work and there is no support.

Not even a star is required for this company called "Scopio" I really had very bad experience with the team, one thing they delay in payments then they are very careless to respond. So irresponsible They told me to create 2-3 accounts to add my artworks saying its AI and wt all non sense they said submit to recording I so did. I still have more artworks to share in wt format they are not satisfied with any! Giving these reason they steal your artwork please don't submit your artworks or get involved in any new projects here. With full concern I'm afraid they collect your data illustration or photos to sell Becoz i have submitted more than 1000+ illustrations they are selfish to provide our hard past works! I sincerely dont recommend such company.

⚠️ Scam Alert ⚠️ For artists who plans to submit your art to Scopio (especially for the $1M Illustration fund program)... Protect your art and time, IT'S A SCAM. After 100+ art I've uploaded, I haven't received any payment from them. Many others have experienced this.

I was supposed to have a appointment with scopio. Fine they mixed the schedule up after I received personal dm's stating the ceo and the head creative director wanted to speak with me. They forgot the first scheduled meeting I reached out and the secretary Jovie sent confirmation waited the second day no word no show. Look i have been a professional illustrator fr almost 26 years now. If people can't follow through with small things they most certainly wont with big things. Now they have so many messages coming my way not one being an apology just sales for them trying to make their own ai for forbes.

🚨 Warning to fellow artists 🚨 I was contacted by Scopio / artist.scop.io through Instagram and encouraged to upload my vector works with promises of payment. It has now been over two months, and my work is still “under review.” Whenever I message them, I only get vague, dismissive responses and no direct answers about when (or if) I will ever get paid. This platform takes artists’ time and work but fails to deliver on payment or transparency. I’m not the only one — there are multiple reports online of long delays, withheld payments, unresponsive support, and artists being locked out of accounts after uploading valuable work. Artists deserve respect and fair treatment — not exploitation. ⚠️ Please do not trust their promises. ⚠️ Do not give away your art for free to platforms that hide behind excuses. We work hard, and this kind of behavior should be illegal. I’m sharing this so fewer artists waste their time and energy like I did. #ArtistsBeware #ScamAlert #FairPayForArtists
