SavvyNomadReviews of savvynomad.io

I needed to setup a very reliable and failproof mail forward and residence management solution. SavvyNomad was recommended as one of the top solutions and I am happy that I went with them. Their website and tooling is excellent, very easy to use, and guides your in details through every setup. They also have super detailed and helpful explanation videos on how to apply for a driver's license, setup domicile, etc. And the mail service so far has been top notch. I also had some issues where I made a mistake in one of the forms and had to correct it quickly -- I reached out their support and got instantaneous help and custom help with changing this form filing. I am definitely recommend to anyone needing a robust virtual mail solution beyond simple mail forwarding.

Onboarding is a UI/UX disaster, and there’s really no excuse for it these days. AI tools let one developer build in a weekend what used to take a team months. SavvyNomad could fix its onboarding in a Saturday afternoon. The main guide to the hardest step, notarizing USPS Form 1583 and related forms in a bundle, is a 15-minute video. It follows the order someone clicks through the portal, not the order of what matters. The points that decide your whole path are mixed in with trivia. Business vs Personal is mentioned around minute 7, and choosing wrong means notarizing again later. The fact that the built-in notary (Proof) requires a US address and SSN comes around minute 12. Nobody watching a 15-minute walkthrough remembers the one sentence that applies to them, and you can’t skim a video or search it. I live abroad, which is exactly who this service is for. I was charged $25 for a Proof session before discovering it couldn’t verify me without a US residential address. The portal already knew my address ID was a foreign lease. It should have sent me to the right option before taking payment, not left me to find out mid-session. This should be a short interactive Q&A before checkout. Do you have a US address and SSN? Will you need business mail? Which two IDs are you using? Is your address ID in English? Then show a one-page checklist of the form rules, with the video as optional reference. The service itself may be fine, but getting started cost me mulitple evenings, an unnecessary charge, and several support questions a checklist would have answered. I'm still not approved.

The IRS tells me they have sent TWO letters to my SN address; I have not been notified that either arrived.

The thuroghness of the process can be daunting, but I guess that's the point. I would sail through it were I to do it again. Coming from Thailand, there was a lot at stake and I couldn't help but be nervous. It all came off as planned. 8 flights to get to Bushnell! But the folks there were happy to help. All is good including banking, new phone, and DL with the Savvy Nomad address. After that trip I'm delighted I don't have to worry about that stuff for 8 years! Thanks to the team and the AI agent is pretty good too😃

Their web page interface is very easy to work with and guide you through the processes that need to be completed. Frequent questions were a big help also.

Very good instructions step by step

I’m still early in the process…but that’s when it matters the most (many times. Other times it’s after onboarding. And most often it’s both). There are a myriad of things to think about and do while starting this journey and they’ve helped walk me through it all. Looking forward to the rest.

Knowledgeable and professional team. Needed help with the process and they were there to help! Much appreciated!
