Salvo Health is the virtual health clinic for chronic gut conditions like IBS, GERD, or SIBO. Our digital app provides a 24/7 message service to a dedicated Care Team, including a doctor that can recommend diagnostic testing, prescriptions and supplements based on your conditions. If you are experiencing symptoms like stomach pain/cramps, bloating, diarrhea, constipation, and heartburn, we can determine a diagnosis and create a holistic treatment plan that is customized to your lifestyle. A customized treatment plan includes practices that not only relieve your gut symptoms, aim to rebalance your sleep, eating, and exercise habits to strengthen your gut and prevent symptoms from even occurring. Our Clinical Advisory Board, including Dr. Mark Hyman, has helped develop our unique model of care called Whole Self Science, which takes the best of conventional and functional medicine to deliver comprehensive care that treats the root cause. Initial contact was very helpful. Then, 2 hours prior to the first actual virtual visit, the entire thing was cancelled. Received a call and text stating "my provider feels the program might not be a good fit right now" Then the email wanted me to complete My Cancellation request.... Seems questionable at best. Now they have my health questionnaire and insurance information.

I love my Salvo Team. I never feel alone in this process, and I am frequently checked on by my team members. It feels so wonderful knowing that I have a team that cares about my health problems with my stomach. I have had the best experiences and I look forward to my team at Salvo Health to make me GUT HEALTHY. Thank you for taking my mind off my stomach, it relieves so much stress off me, just knowing you guys are here for me. I could never thank you enough.

A new service associated with my cardiology office, but I can't get beyond the definition of the title word---a barrage of gunfire. Salva would have been more meaningful and comforting, but I guess that word was already in use.

My nurse listened to my concerns. My dietician offered helpful solutions. The feedback was great!

The Dietitian with Salvo Health helped me turn my IBS around. Her obvious experience with IBS patients benefited me regaining control over my problems with patience and small incremental changes in diet over several months. I am thankful to Salvo Health for recognizing the need for Dietitian follow-up over time and getting rid of the one visit and done model of healthcare.

In my experience with Salvo, they are a fraudulent organization with a bait-and-switch sales process. Upon initial intake, I was told to expect a certain estimated out of pocket cost each month. However, when the egregious bills began arriving one after another - this was not what I was told to expect nor what I agreed to. For less than 3 months of services, I was told to expect to pay roughly $45-$54 out of pocket, max. They billed my insurance well over $1000 and my out of pocket was roughly $88 with more billing still due to arrive. The app is completely juvenile and doesn't work more times than it does. When you submit a message to the 'care team', often times the messages duplicate or triplicate (faulty app) for which they appear to bill you more clinical time for processing multiple messages. When you send in a message, multiple clinical support staff respond and even though one person could handle the issue, you're billed for time spent by all who overlap each others responses. The support appears to be outsourced to an all overseas team in India or thereabouts - so you have to deal with time differences and English language barriers. When I began to question the billing discrepancies, they appear to have terminated my access to the app so that I couldn't access it and create a timeline of interactions to use as evidence to build my claims. Overall, the experience was miserable and quite useless. You'll get actual clinical advice such as breathe 3 times before you swallow so your body switches into rest and digestion mode. Who knew? 4 decades of dealing with IBS issues and all I ever had to do was just breath in and out 3 times before I eat. It's a miracle cure I never knew about. You're going to pay more than expected and you're going to pay for services monthly whether or not you utilize any of them or not. I feel scammed and would never recommend that anyone sign up for this apparent fraud. Just take a look at the reviews. Don't you find it interesting that years have gone by without a single review posted. I wonder why. Stay far, far away from this group. This is just a way for your existing GI doc group to get recurring revenue out of you. Welcome to the new model of 'medicine' - subscription based healthcare. All of the preceding is my opinion and based on my experiences.
