Wow! These are awful reviews. This is our first year with SageSure and we are in Texas where mny companies are not covering us anymore. So, we took a chance. We have a very high deductible, but got a better quote for the year. So, our May storm gave us a lot of damage to our fence, roof, and patio. We filed a claim, got a call quickly, had several contacts from the company, an adjuster was here 9 days after the storm started and literally days after we filed a claim. The adjuster was on time, very professional, and explained things to me. Once he left, his report was turned in a few days later and we were in constant contact with our rep, April. An initial check was mailed on June 19 and we received it June 26 in the mail. Once e complete the work and send receipts, we will receive the rest of our claim. (It's about 1/4 of the money due). April explained the claim to me line by line. She has treated me like a valued customer. I'm so sorry that others had bad experiences, but my experience has been wonderful. My only other claim in my 42 years of being a home owner was in 2008 from Hurricane Ike. So, I have no idea what I am doing in this area....I am so glad that April was assigned to me....thank you so very much or making me feel cared for.

They take your money the first second you contact them. Then they take their sweet time to do an inspection, only to tell you that they can't cover your roof, which is the only reason I need insurance for. My roof is in perfect shape by the way. They just wanted to take the money, and by the time they refund it, you have paid two months of premiums for nothing. Not to mention they take 20 days to cancel when you indicate you want to cancel… they just respond late to collect daily fees. :) Insurances are mostly a scam, especially smaller companies.

I just got off the phone with a customer service representative after leaving my first review. All she could tell me was that the decision not to renew was final and could not tell me why the company made the decision they did. I’ll be contacting the state attorney general and the BBB as this company should not be allowed to operate in Massachusetts.

I purchased a hazard insurance policy from sage sure on 5/3/2024 from sage sure insurance company through an agent(farmers agency). Farmers agency told me that I have to pay 25% down out of pocket first and they sage sure will bill my mortgage company for the entire amount and will refund 25% back to me. I paid 25% using a credit card and they activated the policy . However then later on when I called sage sure they said they will bill only for the balance due for my mortgage company , Then I called the farmers agency and told this is fraud as they lied to me . Then farmers agent said that is what they were told by sage sure . I said I wanted to cancel this policy as I don’t have funds to pay 25% out of pocket , Farmers agent lock asked me to cancel the policy . Then I called 2 sage sure agents Tori and Dena to make sure regarding the refund for cancellation of policy . They both confirmed if I cancel as of 5/8/24 I will get $1950 ( pro rated) back to my credit card after 3-5 business days . Then Sage sure asked farmers agent to send the cancellation. I didn’t see the credit card refund after a week and I called sage sure . They said they can’t refund my money and then I asked to transfer to a manager . He said their previous agents made a mistake . I said this is fraud as they stole my money by lying to me . This is the worst company and please DO NOT do business with them as they lie and steal your money

Horrible experience. For the people reading SageSure reviews have you noticed their reply on virtually all responses is the same canned answer? I felt I was given a fairly good quote during the purchase of a newly remodeled home that happens to be in Santa Cruz county which is already on the "list" for fire - something that was known when I secured the insurance. 2 months later, I was given a "cancellation" letter after an inspector showed up and walked all around the property without my knowledge and took pictures citing no handrail for the 8'x8' back deck (about a one foot drop) along with no handrail on steps leading to front door. All of the pics of the house were available on line even before they insured me. Finally, they cited mismatched tile on the roof and said that it was curling. This assessment was BS - I had just had my roof looked at by a roofer who said my roof was fine and would last another 15 - 20 years. I pleaded with the roof company to put their assessment in writing and they refused, saying they are too fearful of what insurance companies will do to them. I went ahead and hired a contractor to put in the handrails where they cited and I was told by the insurance broker that no matter what I did, they would not stop with the cancellation. The roof company said they would put on a new roof for $23,000 and would stand by it with a guarantee. Sadly, I had to go with the California Fair Plan. This is an utter crisis.

As I read the reviews from several unsatisfied people on this page, I can definitely relate. Both my daughter's house and our home had hail damage from last spring's hail storm. It's been a little over one year and we are still going back and forth with this insurance company over damage. We had to get an attorney involved, and still, nothing. All of our other neighbors were able to get their roofs replace within a few months. While here we are, hurricane season upon us and the chance of having more roof damage done during this season. I have contacted the company several times. They have sent out an adjuster twice, our attorney had to send someone out as well and here we are still waiting. There's really no point in writing this review, other than to warn others. I am sure their response to this will be to contact customer service. Which I already have, several times.

In Texas tree limbs that shade your roof from the blazing Texas sun are very desirable. A shaded roof can decrease attic temperatures by 8 to 10 degrees. A shaded roof can also increase the life span of your roof. A shaded roof translates into lower utility bills and a longer-lasting roof. If you want to keep your shaded roof, do not get insurance with SageSure Insurance. Their policy is that any branch overhanging the roof must be removed. This is not just branches touching the roof line. This is ANY branch overhanging the roof line. Although they appear to be the less expensive option for your home insurance, the cost to remove large, large, large limbs (thousands of dollars) and the higher cost of utility bills can translate into higher expenses. If you value your shade do not use this company.
