American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPR, and First-Aid Certification Courses: A Comprehensive OverviewSafety Training Seminars is a nationally recognized leader in providing high-quality training in life-saving skills. Their certification courses in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and First-aid are designed to equip both healthcare professionals and lay responders with the tools they need to act quickly and effectively in emergency situations. Whether you're a medical provider, childcare worker, teacher, or concerned citizen, AHA training offers valuable education that can make the difference between life and death.Basic Life Support (BLS)The AHA’s BLS certification course is essential for healthcare professionals including nurses, doctors, EMTs, and dental workers. This course focuses on high-quality CPR, the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs), and team-based resuscitation scenarios. Participants learn how to recognize cardiac arrest, provide effective chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations, and use an AED promptly. BLS certification is often required for employment in hospitals and clinics and is a foundational course for more advanced training.Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)ACLS builds on the basic skills taught in BLS and is intended for advanced healthcare providers such as physicians, paramedics, and critical care nurses. The course emphasizes the management of cardiac arrest, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes. ACLS training includes advanced airway management, ECG interpretation, pharmacology, and effective communication within a code team. AHA ACLS courses require prior knowledge of BLS and often include pre-course self-assessments to ensure participants are prepared. Certification is valid for two years and is vital for those working in emergency departments and intensive care units.Pediatric A

When I say I learn something new everyday..well this is something I can say I really learned something new today. Doing cpr with technology. Even though cpr wasn't new to me today it was my renewal like I've been doing for 25yrs in the medical field. Renewing my cpr bls after it expired Aug 2026. Thanks STS for being so convenient for me to start on the floor tomorrow. And thanks for having the same initials as my name too 🤣

The online portion was easy to follow and understand, and it had the bonus of taking a quiz at the start to “test out” of each module. In person directions beforehand were thorough and communicated very well via email. The in person class was very easy to follow and complete. The instructor was informative and very knowledgeable. Overall a great place and I will come back when it is time to renew!

I loved taking my in person skills test with a zoom instructor. I felt the instructor was super helpful and gave many tips for cpr. The location was super easy to find and a closed room per student.
