Becky was AMAZING!! My friend and I were the only ones on the tour and it was such a fun experience. I loved learning about the history of Shockoe and to hear the spooky stories. I also got the little ghost plush and I am obsessed! So exited to do another tour soon!

Gabe did a great job! I really enjoyed learning the history and appreciated the respect he showed for the dead while sharing their stories. I also had a strange experience during the tour. I brought my fully charged Streamlight, which worked at almost every stop. But at one particular location, while Gabe was telling us about the subject’s horrific death and the later haunting of his murderer, my flashlight suddenly wouldn’t turn on. As soon as we walked away, it worked perfectly again. Definitely an unforgettable experience!

Hello Kendall, thanks for the thoughtful review! We’re glad Gabe made the tour both informative and respectful, especially when sharing such difficult stories. And that flashlight experience sounds like quite the eerie moment, definitely a memorable part of the night! We’ll be sure to pass your kind words along to Gabe!
Well, there was 3 in our group. 2 of us were disabled so we had to do a little bit different tour. We had the tour guide Bridget tell us about some of the houses and visited a few places that were closer to were the tour started. A lot of fun! We had a great time.

The day of our event we were given a confirmation and told where to meet our tour guide, Bryce. He was FANTASTIC! My daughter and I took an extended tour and Bryce was more than informative telling us the history and back round of the neighborhoods we were walking through. The vacant lot that was once an old burial ground gave us eerie feelings.
