My name on Google is my pen name. Go through your basecamp and you will see who I am. The refund you’re offering? 3 monthly payments because you don’t have the money to pay your taxes? You want to “wire” money? You’re still charging me for 1 of 5 books that was hacked to death by your editors and was never publishable?
Be wary - do not use this company. And Royal Book House, if I post again, I’ll post our entire conversations from basecamp so all can see the truth.

DO NOT USE
After 5 months of work - nothing to publish. The editing is rubbish. I've sent an email and posted on basecamp for a full refund.

Dear Royal Book House ALEX, LIAM, LEO, I have each of their business cards Blasphemy these Publishers are SCAMMERS , You are the worst company 😡I have ever attempted to publish a book with.
I am writing to express my outrage and disgust at the blatant disrespect and unprofessionalism your company has shown me. After five long weeks of working with you in detail, you raved about my story, calling it "remarkable." However, your subsequent email was nothing short of appalling. You demanded that I take down my post and offered to refund my money, all while keeping my work and attempting to silence me. I have contacted Steve Harvey.
Let me remind you of the facts. I submitted my manuscript multiple times, using UPS for proof of delivery and emailing it to you seven times. You claimed not to have received it, repeatedly. After five weeks, you finally acknowledged receipt of my work and praised it as "amazing." It's clear that you've been using me to develop your ideas, and now you're trying to cover your tracks.
As a published author of three books, I know my work is valuable, and I won't let you get away with this. Your company's handling of my submission has been a disaster, with conflicting information, excuses, and a complete lack of transparency. You've had my entire manuscript, with pictures and five-star reviews, and now you're trying to silence me.
To all authors considering working with your company, beware: you're being used for your ideas. I demand a full investigation into this matter and expect a formal apology for the way I've been treated. You've made a big mistake, -Royal Book House-. You've messed with the wrong author.
Sincerely,

Dear Cynthia,
We are fully aware of your recent messages and public statements, and we want to address your claims clearly and factually.
First and foremost, your refund has already been processed in full and has been reflected back to your account. This was done as a professional courtesy after your repeated miscommunication and inability to provide the necessary materials to proceed with your project.
Let us be clear — Royal Book House has never used, copied, or shared any portion of your manuscript or creative work. Your accusations of intellectual theft are entirely baseless and defamatory. All of our communications, transactions, and requests have been fully documented and conducted in a transparent, professional manner.
From the beginning, our team — including Alex, Liam, and Leo — acted in good faith. You initially requested our business cards, which we provided immediately. Following that, we repeatedly and politely requested your manuscript in order to begin production. Despite sending multiple follow-ups for over a month, the materials were not received. Instead, you sent a series of unrelated emails and began making false public accusations.
Even after this, we continued to offer assistance and a refund to close the matter professionally — which you initially refused. Only after continued unprofessional conduct and threatening behavior did we proceed to finalize the refund and terminate the collaboration.
As a registered publishing company, we take our reputation and the integrity of our work very seriously. Any further defamatory claims made against our company, team members, or partners will be treated as a violation of our professional and legal rights, and we will not hesitate to pursue appropriate action if necessary.
This matter is now considered closed. The refund has been completed, and no further engagement will be made regarding this issue.
