RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing LLCReviews of roundpointmortgage.com

Unfortunately none cooperative very difficult getting answers to requests that was asked ten days earlier, confused if they sent the response by email or not, NO verbal answer to the request. Charging my account for something I haven’t receive any response.

Representative was very knowledgeable and helpful

Using their publicly available information, I used my bank to create a bill-pay profile. I made three partial payment tests and in each case the monies pushed from my bank to Roundpoint was mishandled. My payment Logic is set to Prepayment, which means all payments should go to the current mortgage payment and up to five additional payments. BUT, Roundpoint mishandles these payments by applying them as Principal only payments. Even when they correct each mistake their system just converts it back to Principal. I have ZERO confidence that I can make a mortgage payment. If this were not bad enough, their telephone tree keeps changing and as of this morning you cannot reach a live person, or even a queue to a live person. My mortgage is going to go into default because of Roundpoint.

I had talked to Chelsea on Friday and was told to call back with the hope I had a figure to make my mortgage current. I called back and got Tasha today. Both were extremely kind, courteous, and helpful. My numbers aren’t ready and advised me to be in the lookout for the email and check back tomorrow. I appreciated their sincerity, manners and genuine kindness. I have had many moving parts with my health and COVID affecting my income and they were very nice helping me. Thank you! Please pass on my words to them! They deserve something special. Lynn Maring

Tehvin, his attitude as a customer service is terrible and rude, he shouldn't work on this position.

My home was reassessed at $50k less than before so my taxes were greatly reduced. However, roundpoint keeps charging me over $200/mos in taxes and STILL claims my escrow is short by over $800 though I only have taxes & PMI in escrow. I should only owe $100/mos for taxes not $200. I’ve called several times and keep being told it’s taken care of. This month they tacked another $10 to my mortgage put saying it was for the escrow analysis. The lady I was on phone with this time wouldn’t listen to me and kept talking over me and interrupting me. I’m in the process of having taxes taken out of escrow so I can save over $100/mos and the $800+ they SAY I still “owe” for taxes. According to my tax bill from the county the spring taxes are paid in full and I only owe a little over $600 in the fall but I’m still paying $200/mos for “taxes.” Biggest sham ever and should be illegal! If I can’t get anywhere with having my taxes removed from escrow I will be consulting an attorney to resolve this for me. I have wasted countless time on this and nothing has been resolved! I was told my escrow pyt actually went down but I hav not seen it reflected in my monthly payment. It increased by $10!

Has nothing to do with the rep.

Alex, at escrow is very knowledgeable and customer focused. Thank you for your time!
