WATCHOUT!! This company is a total scam! They promise a bespoke service and product. However, they send you a cheap sample product, not the product that was detailed in the website and backtrack quickly once they get caught. DO NOT trust this company!!!

Their gaia hoop earrings appear to have serious quality issues. I ordered a pair that arrived with bent and uneven clasps. Hoping that it was just a one-off issue, I requested to exchange them for another pair. It took a month, and multiple follow-ups, to get Roen to send the replacement pair. They arrived today, and the clasp is partially detached from the hoop, exposing the hollow inside. I'm shocked by both the manufacturing defects and that Roen clearly does not quality check their items. Even more baffling, their customer service response suggests that Roen sees no issue with sending customers $300 earrings that are not fully welded together. The designs are beautiful but if these are Roen's quality standards, I would avoid at all costs.

Hi Mary - This is James here, one of the Founders at ROEN. We are sad to see this type of review as we genuinely do not believe these are accurate accounts. Our GAIA Hoop Earrings are hand made and hand finished with solid 18 karat gold. This allows us to carefully polish and finish each earring in ways that a machine cannot do. As a result, these earrings are cleared of porosity or polish issues, and they last far longer than mass produced machine made earrings. We take pride in the tiny human imperfections of our earrings. Upon your return, we evaluated that there was no bent or uneven clasps, but regardless we promptly sent you a new pair of earrings after we received and inspected your return. The new earrings were also carefully inspected by me and our quality control team and they did not have any of the issues you mentioned. When you did not want to keep the new ones, we were happy to send a full refund. We also provided complimentary shipping for all of our interactions. During our interactions, I left you my personal cell phone number in case you needed to ask me any questions about the earrings. I take pride in the customer service we offer and I feel blessed by the many clients who have purchased our GAIA earrings and thoroughly enjoy them to this day without any quality complaints or issues. In the meantime, Sherry and I will continue to work endlessly to grow ROEN from a small business run by two childhood friends into everyone's cherished personal jeweler. Warm regards, James D.
