1st time using a resume writing service and it's been great. Searched a few services and found this to be the best. Called and listened to everything I said about my previous jobs and added my past job as I described it. Also added a cover letter which was great and I've never had one before so was excited about that also. Recommended this group to a few other's from the company that let us go so hoping they get in contact soon. Loved it so much and decided to have you also revamp my LinkedIn profile so did that also. I appreciate Ryan for contacting me and listening and having the team produce and resume like I've never had before. Thanks again for everything.

Don't let a quick return call fool you
I generally don't write reviews but I was so unhappy with the service I received I had to write this in hopes that it saves someone else $200.
The only good part about my experience was that I called them, and even though I didn't leave a message, I received a return call quickly. I discussed what I was looking for (combining 2 resumes into 1) and was told they could do that. Well they did but it was subpar. Only only real work they did was formatting my resume, and not doing much with the content. It actually feels like they just ran it through ChapGPT b/c the resume they gave me is not better than what I provided to them.
I called both numbers and both numbers appeared to be disconnected. I chatted them via their website and was told I could only communicate with them via their website, and they could not call me back. I sent messages through their portal, with specific questions. They questions weren't answered / there was no discussion, they performed simple updates and set it back to me. I'm so frustrated with their service, or lack thereof.
My recommendation: find another company, especially at their rates.

We were very sorry to receive this customer's review because we always strive to provide the best possible service to this customer.
Here is an overview of the situation:
- We spoke with the customer and provided a comprehensive overhaul of her existing resume. This overhaul was done by a real writer, based in the US, with 20+ years of writing experience. In the overhaul, we fixed numerous issues with styling, formatting, grammatical errors, typographical issues, and countless other problems.
- The new resume was provided on the 22nd. We then didn't hear from Tyesha for two weeks. After two weeks, Tyesha called us again. We tried calling Tyesha back but apparently we called the wrong phone number (it was the number we had on the account for Tyesha, but must've been listed correctly - this is certainly an issue we're very sorry for as I think a lot of this could've been solved during that call.) At the same time, Tyesha interacted with us on our live chat and said she wanted some changes to the resume. We advised her that the best way to get changes is to send her writer a message with the requested revisions.
-Tyesha sent her writer the requested changes, and her writer promptly made the adjustments for her and sent back a revised version on 02/11/2025. At that point, we assumed everything was okay until we received this one-star review on 02/25/2025. We then called Tyesha again to try to understand the situation. At that time, we offered a partial-refund to Tyesha, which she refused, and made another set of revisions - even though she was beyond our 30-day free revision period at that point.
Regarding Tyesha's comments about our phone numbers not working, we receive daily calls from customers and all of our phone numbers work just fine. 1-800-466-3076
With our company, our customer service staff is based entirely in the US, we don't use any automated bots to answer our phones, and we try to approach every situation with a personal touch. Our commitment is that no matter what the situation is, we'll do our utmost to try to make it right and ensure every customer receives a top-notch resume that was significantly better than their original.

Excellent work on my resume!
Excellent work on my resume! I was very impressed with the wording and attention to detail. Steve had written my husband's resume a couple of weeks ago and we loved his so much that we signed up with Steve again to write mine! I know I won't have any trouble finding a job with this resume! Thank you!

Don't use this company
Don't use this company! I could not find a way to cancel this subscription, and I never agreed to have this company bill my credit card monthly. I needed a one-time service. I could have used AI and received cheaper and better results. I finally reported the billing as fraud and complained to the BBB.

Unfortunately, this is one of those situations where literally not one word of this review is accurate:
1. The customer agreed in writing to our subscription that renews once every six months for $39.95. This agreement is time-stamped with the customer's original purchase date along with her personal IP address matching her physical location and device ID.
2. The customer HASN'T EVEN BEEN CHARGED for the subscription. The subscription isn't set to renew for another ten days. We sent the customer three separate reminder emails letting her know that the subscription is going to renew. Each of those reminder emails has a direct link to cancel the subscription. Rather than following the extremely basic instructions in those emails, the customer instead replied to one of the emails TODAY asking us to cancel the subscription. The same day, we responded to her and let her know the subscription has been cancelled.
3. From there, we called the customer and tried to explain to her over the phone that we had cancelled the subscription and that she HADN'T BEEN CHARGED. Instead of listening, she proceeded to hang up on us.
So, to sum up the situation, the customer is writing 1-star reviews, contacting her bank, and complaining to the BBB over something she signed up for and that she hasn't even been charged for after we made every possible effort to handle the situation for her expeditiously and courteously.
I know this will come as a big shock to everyone reading this review, but if you look at Teri's other reviews, you'll notice that she seems to run into this same problem quite often with other companies as well. Maybe, she should stop signing up for subscriptions if she doesn't want them, and read the basic instructions required to cancel those subscriptions before they renew...
