Promised full support and modern features, delivered a month-long setup nightmare and outdated functionality
Here is a polished version of your review. It balances fairness and accuracy with a direct, firm warning to potential customers about what running a business on ResNexus actually looks like in practice. Title: Promised full support and modern features, delivered a month-long setup nightmare and outdated functionality We have been using ResNexus since June 2026. Like many park owners, we kept hoping that with time, patience, and direct feedback, the system and support would improve. Unfortunately, that has not been the case, and potential buyers need to know what they are actually signing up for. To start, the onboarding process was an absolute headache. ResNexus promised full setup assistance to get our park onboarded smoothly. In reality, we received virtually no help, and after over a month of struggling through it, the initial setup was never successfully completed by their team—we had to shoulder the burden ourselves just to get operational. Once you are up and running, you quickly realize how many basic, standard operational features are completely missing or poorly executed. Here are just a few daily pain points we contend with: No Automated Late Fees: Basic billing automation is absent, forcing manual oversight for routine fee additions. No Auto-Retry for Declined Cards: When a payment fails, the system won't automatically attempt to reprocess the card, adding unnecessary manual admin work to collect revenue. Clunky Waitlist Functionality: The waitlist system lacks fundamental logic. It allows guests to select specific sites rather than simply requesting a site type and date range. Worse, it doesn't display the name of the person who booked, and there is no native way to require a deposit upfront to join the list. Flawed Retail Integration: Retail items attach to a specific site reservation rather than the guest's master account. If a guest moves sites during their stay, those charges don't automatically follow them. Inflexible Guest Management: You cannot easily filter or sort your active guest list by site number, creating unnecessary friction during daily operations. Whenever we submit feedback or request fixes for these essential tools, the response from support is always the same: they acknowledge the request, but claim there is a "long line" of enhancement requests ahead of us. Nothing ever gets implemented, fixed, or prioritized. If you are considering ResNexus, be prepared for a difficult, self-guided setup and a platform that lags behind basic modern software standards with very little movement on feature updates.
