replacementlensexpress.com was wonderful. We used them for getting some prescription sunglasses lenses put into frames we provided. Our prescriptions are pretty high, and replacement lens express switched our lenses to a better lens for tinting when we requested the darkest lenses possible. A great experience overall, with super-friendly customer service.

Replacement Lens Express changed trifocal lenses in two pairs of glasses for me recently. The first pair was perfect - prescription, PD, and segment height were all just as I requested. The second pair was not quite as good. The prescription and PD are right on,but the segment height is 2mm lower than I requested. While 2 mm does not sound like a lot, it places the near vision part of the trifocal lens so low in the frame that it is hard to use. Both orders were filled quickly.

Guess I am unlucky - had two interactions and both with quite negative experience: 1. Getting frame and a pair of lens - took a few weeks to get done, during that period response time was pretty bad and was also overcharged for the delivery (they declined to reimburse me). Overall quality of the result was quite poor but not a disaster 2. In a few months frame became very loose so I was worrying my glasses would fall apart. Tried to find out from RLE if they could fix but have not found any phone number to contact. All my emails I sent to various addresses were completely ignored. I will try my luck somewhere else next time - not with RLE for sure.

Great customer service. Perfect quality. Great price. 2 pair a year old now when this was written. So this is from memory and satisfaction. They got them both right the first time.
