We had our pool deck resurfaced by Renukrete last October. My wife and I were pleased with the result. However shortly after the men left I noticed that 3 pool cover anchors were damaged by their equipment. I immediately notified our project manager. She advised me to contact customer support which I did. Once the job is complete and paid for, the only way to communicate is via email. It's imposssible to talk to anyone and nobody returns phone calls. After several attempts to contact customer support with no results our progect manager emailed me and stated the office is closed for the winter and I'll hear from someone in March. In the mean time my pool company replaced the three damaged pool cover anchors at a reasonable cost of $167.89 which I expected Renukrete to reimburse for. In March no one contacted me, phone calls were not returned, and after several attempts to contact customer service they informed that because I signed off on the project they would not reimburse me the $167.89, but would send me 3 pool anchors which I no longer needed. It's dissappointing that after paying Renukrete over $20,000 they fail to take responsibility for minor damage they caused. The workmanship was good, customer service and relations leaves a lot to be desired for. Very poor customer service.

Dear Mrs. Kadesh, thank you for your comments. We strive to provide the best possible product service to all of our customers, and we try to do better every day. Many times, as we have done in your project, we go above and beyond to satisfy our customers. Our teams are in constant contact with our customers, before, during and after the installation to make sure we meet and exceed our customers' and our own high expectations on our work. At the end of each project, we schedule a Final Inspection with each customer to go over everything we have done during the project, and to address any issues that may be discovered. We provide a detailed check list for our customers to use, and we ask our customers to take their time during the inspection. We understand that our projects are oftentimes large and in the outdoors, and things come up, and we do everything we can to make sure the outcome for our customers is spectacular. Unfortunately, after the Final Inspection and after we leave the job site, we can't accept claims for any damages that our crew may or may not have caused. When it comes to pool cover anchors, our process actually does not affect them. In fact, pool cover anchors corrode over time, they seize or otherwise suffer from the elements. That is one of the reasons why they are usually replaced over time on many pool decks, and why so most pool companies and supply house sell replacement anchors. Since you made your claim after we left, as a courtesy, we offered to provide you with a number of no-charge pool cover anchors that we would have mailed to you. We apologize of this offended you in any way, as it was not our intention. We have been in contact with you for several months about this issue, as you know. We are sorry to hear that our response is not satisfactory to you. However, we are also thrilled to hear that you love your pool deck and in fact, it does look stunning and we are sure it will give you many moments of joy and pride. We hope you enjoy the summer!
