Absolutely Disgraceful Service
Absolutely Disgraceful Service. Avoid Rendr at All Costs! One of the worst delivery experiences I have ever had. An appalling failure of customer service, accountability and basic professionalism. On 15 October 2026, I purchased $92.48 worth of goods from Chemist Warehouse and specifically paid for premium same-day delivery through Rendr. Rendr collected my order at 4:06 pm, marked the driver as approaching my address at 4:26 pm, and then inexplicably changed the tracking status to “Pending Return” at 4:49 pm. My goods were NEVER delivered, despite my instructions explicitly authorising the courier to leave the parcel. What followed was even more disgraceful. After lodging a formal complaint, I received generic apologies, speculative excuses and requests for information Rendr already possessed. I was asked about redelivery the following day, yet no delivery was arranged or confirmed. The most alarming development? Rendr subsequently admitted that Chemist Warehouse had not received the parcel back either, and that they still needed to contact their own courier to find out what happened! How does a delivery company collect a customer’s purchased goods and then become unable to establish where they are? Despite repeated complaints and requests for management intervention, I was left without my purchased goods, a satisfactory explanation or a confirmed refund arrangement. The situation became so unacceptable that, on 16 October 2026, I formally reported the matter to BOTH the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) and NSW Fair Trading, identifying Rendr and Chemist Warehouse and raising concerns about non-delivery, poor complaint handling and potentially misleading same-day delivery representations. These complaints have been formally submitted and acknowledged. I find it extraordinary that a business advertising convenient, premium delivery services could demonstrate such poor courier oversight and accountability. My advice to anyone considering Rendr: AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Based on my experience, I have absolutely no confidence in this company’s ability to deliver goods reliably or resolve problems when something goes wrong. One star is generous. I would give ZERO if I could. An utterly unacceptable experience. I would never willingly use Rendr again.
