I was charged over six hundred dollars for treatment I never received

This is not a transparent company. They charge you $69 for a visit if it’s sent to your local pharmacy - which they you are then paying well over 100 bucks for the medication which defeats the purpose. They fail to tell you that you will be charged $20 for the visit if you get it through their pharmacy, as the promotional offer states, and then will pay $60 for the medication. They were unwilling to refund me the $69 and instead charge me $20 for the visit because they had already sent the prescription to my local pharmacy. I work in healthcare and all it requires is a click of your mouse to forward a prescription so I do not understand how they can advertise being a cost-friendly healthcare provider and not issue a refund for their lack of transparency.

Hello Branden. All of the information you mention is clearly listed in the FAQ's section and under each of the conditions listed on our website www.redboxrx.com. We list the cost of a provider visit when you use our pharmacy and when you choose to use your local pharmacy. The charges are also clearly listed on the review and pay step when you go to pay for your provider visit. Patients who use our pharmacy would receive a separate invoice for the treatment where they would also review and pay for that medication. You will not receive an invoice for the medication if you choose to use a different pharmacy as we have no control over what another company or pharmacy charges for their prescriptions. The promotions we offer through RedBox Rx will always refer to the price you would pay if using our pharmacy. Transferring prescriptions is not the same as forwarding them, and if you have any questions on that process or how to do it, please reach out to our patient care team at 844-733-2697. Our patient care team is also happy to help answer any other questions on our process and/or pricing should you have any.
My package was not delivered to me. It was supposed to be delivered to my mailbox but was allegedly delivered to a locker which my complex doesn’t even utilize. After 3 phone numbers (given by their staff), 2 transfers and a blind transfer (an hour+of my time) I was told that they cannot assist me and that I need to file a claim with USPS before they will move forward. Instead of Redbox just reissuing me a new order, so that I am not without of my ointment, they told me I have to resolve with USPS. This is only my second order and I 100% am cancelling my subscription. There are way too many companies out here to deal with this, so I will take my chances elsewhere update 10/23/24 ——please be aware that when I gave them the resolution from USPS labled “misdelivered package” they told me it wasn’t enough. Second email from USPS wasn’t enough because it didn’t have a USPS header though it came from …@usps.gov. ….. The response below was not told to me. Only was told that I need to repurchase and had to just wait. I had to visit USPS 2 times, have USPS redo their email 2 times and call Redbox 10+ times that week. No one followed up with me, constant blind transfers. No one offered to transfer to a pharmacy at all and no one was kind to me. Surprisingly USPS was far kinder and helpful than Redbox whose staff was insufferable. After all those visits and a lengthy email exchange with USPS later asking them to reword the entire investigation email to Redbox liking, and change the USPS template email, I eventually got my replacement but still isn’t worth the headache with all the other companies out there. Cancelled my subscription with them based on customer service alone.

Hello Natasha. Unfortunately, prescription medications are not handled the same as other deliveries. In order to replace and reship your medication, we have to confirm and have the proper documentation that the prescription has been lost or misdelivered. This is why we have to have a service request with the USPS. You can always purchase another refill to get you through until the service request is completed, and the prescription confirmed lost or returned to our facility for reshipment. The prescription can also be transferred to a local pharmacy of your choice, we would just require the full provider visit fee. I ordered medication from this company, and it never shipped. I finally canceled my order with them two weeks ago, and they still will not refund the nearly $300 they took from me—scam artists.

Hello Cait. Per the refund policy, patients are not eligible for a refund once the medication has been ordered from the pharmacy. This is due to the fact that prescription medication is prohibited by law to be reused or resold. We are sorry for any trouble this has caused you. Absolute scam. I told them exactly what cream I needed for the dermatitis issue I’m having, that I’ve had for years and instead they switched the script to something for rosacea which I don’t have because it’s a more expensive prescription but does nothing for my issue. Do not trust these “doctors” for issues other than getting your adhd medication filled (which is what they are known for). They also responded to this before ever answering their phones. DO NOT TRUST.

Horrible customer service. They do not update your prescription as requested. Make you go through all sorts of hoops and do not take responsibility for their incorrect prescriptions. And no, aside from what they say in the reply, they are definitely unwilling to help with issues. Received product I never wanted, had called to cancel months ago. Called to fix the situation with should be an easy understanding about an incorrect prescription, but no, they would do nothing about it. Nothing to correct the prescription sent and no attempt to credit over $160 spent on an incorrect prescription. Avoid at all costs - use NURX or Musely!

Hello Heidi. Part of what sets RedBox Rx apart is that patients are responsible for and in control of the treatments in their account. This control and responsibility are also why it is very important to read over all pertinent information and not neglect reviewing the various confirmation steps before ordering your treatment. Those steps are where you confirm what treatment you are ordering, the strength or dosing of the treatment, and the shipping address you want the treatment sent to. When a patient has a dose or strength increase, it is the responsibility of the patient to go into their account and either delay or cancel any future refills of the old treatment. Prescriptions cannot simply be replaced, changed, or erased by a provider or a pharmacist in your account as that would be unlawful. A new prescription for the updated treatment strength has to be written by the provider. Our patient care team supervisor relayed this information as well as our refund and returns and exchanges policies to you when you called. The drugs are very expensive, so I don't think you should charge $10.00 for reviewing our answers.

Thank you for your feedback. We do not charge a monthly membership fee, and you only pay when you receive a product or service. That helps us to keep the fees for those services as low as possible for all patients. We understand that our service may not be right for everyone, but we believe that we can help many receive access to affordable, quality healthcare that might not receive it otherwise. Many of our patients do not have prescription insurance coverage or have high deductible plans. Our visit fees and prescriptions costs are often less than typical insurance copays.
This company has lied and takes payments without even providing any healthcare information. They are a scam and have scammed multiple people. Redbox Rx has giving misleading information and does not even have healthcare providers or professionals. If I could give negative 5 star review I would they are stealing money from American citizens and should absolutely be shut down.
