The teachers for the ADN program in Blaine were a joke. They would read off the slides and get mad when students asked questions because they had no idea what they were talking about! They would say, “go look in the book”. Some of your flex courses are bull and I believe you make it so the students will need to take the course. Sad.

A great college.

Best investment I’ve ever made. While this program (RN-BSN) isn’t easy, it is doable. I’ve felt very supported throughout this process.

It was so disappointing how some of the instructors treated us (people of color) during the last quarter. I will never refer anybody to come to that school again. I have learnt my lessons. During the orientation you need to tell people of color the truth that they are the only students who cannot transfer to another Rasmussen campus. During the clinicals, we were not allowed to take a break instead, we had to eat on the resident's floor unit, which is unhealthy. We were not allowed even to sit in a break room, she said is a working break, From 5/530am to 330/4pm. If a student of color forgets to wear a name tag, he/she was asked to go home, while a student of the same color of the instructor, if he/she forgets the name tag, the instructor will just smile and say, "don't forget tomorrow". The instructor told us that she cannot answer the questions we ask in class, we just have to read the book, my question is; why were we going in class if the instructor couldn't answer our questions? Rasmussen Blaine campus is not a good school for students of color.

Trying to get in contact with my student advisor at the Moorehead campus was a joke and so I transferred to a different campus and had the same experience. Online classes are a jokr. Text books are online but I can't have my laptop at work so trying to get reading done was next to impossible. I asked for regular textbooks and was told I could purchase them on Amazon. I already paid for the electronic books I wasn't paying more money for the physical books. I am definitely NOT recommending Rasmussen to ANYONE. I will be shouting my experience from the rooftop!! Tony at Lake Elmo/Woodbury campus is condescending and rude. I made the Dean's List in my classes because I take my education seriously. I had no help from Rasmussen.

Bad communication between students and all faculty. Financial aid is very unorganized.

This is a great school! They are easy to work with and are willing to work with you if you fall behind.
