Process for getting new rates and opening new CD account based on new rate is still confusing and convoluted.

Website is horrible - not user friendly. Cannot add beneficiaries online.

Hi Kevin. You can add beneficiaries to your account by sending us a secure form within the Online Banking application. Simply sign into Online Banking with your User ID and Password and go to Self Service. There you will see a Request to Add Beneficiaries. Complete the form and submit. We will then add the beneficiary to your account and send you confirmation when completed. I followed the link to open a Bitcoin rewards checking account on your site. After several months I attempted to find where I’d see my Bitcoin balance. I had spent - at least for me quite a bit of money in this specific institution and account for the rewards. When I reached out to find the “dual statements” location I was given those instructions and when I still didn’t see them. I called and was informed that I do not have a Bitcoin rewards account but a interest checking. The sole reason I found out about Quontic is because of the Bitcoin. I asked if I could be retroactively enrolled and was told no, I asked if I could have my account converted and was told no. Having a really lousy website and mobile app was tolerable, having had my account placed on hold because I was attempting to move several thousand dollars IN to my account via Zelle was tolerable but not having the account I requested due to a mistake on the part of the bank and being told - in effect - your out of luck buddy - is not tolerable. I’ll be sure to help get the word out to not bank with you all on all the crypto forums if you’d like too,

Checking account with high interest rates by performing a minimal of extra tasks. Good network of free atm’s. Unfortunately not a strong network of physical branches, but that is not as important to me

Thank you for your feedback and for choosing Quontic for your banking needs. One of the reasons why we are able to provide such competitive rates is due to the overhead cost savings of not having physical branches.
The only thing that I wish I had is better access to my bitcoin data (e.g. how do I cash out if needed?), and in increase in the total amount I can transfer to an external account using Zelle. It looks like ~$200 was the max. Thanks!

Your new tiered interest rates on your high yield checking are confusing, so do we earned 1.01% on the FIRST $100,000 and then 0.65% on the balance over $100,000 OR if our balance is over $100,000 then do we earn 0.65% on the FIRST $100,000?????????????????

Our apologies for the confusion. The APY is paid on the full balance in the range of the tier. For example: Provided all transaction requirements are met, and you have a balance of $150,000, you will earn the .65% APY on $150,000.
