QuartileReviews of quartile.com

As a seller of artisanal coffee blends, I've always believed in the quality of my product. Quartile managed to take that belief and amplify it on Amazon. Their strategies are masterful, leading to a noticeable surge in our sales. Couldn’t be more pleased.

I was initially skeptical about how much Quartile could improve our advertising. The transformation has been so striking that now, I can't imagine running Amazon campaigns without them.

If you have a well performing account then stay away from Quartile, do it in house or an agency with human beings managing the account and is aligned with your goals or PPC philosophy. Quartile will absolutely kill a good performing account and they don't really care about your goals for your own business. They have killed some of our best sellers. Revenues for these products have fallen by about 30% -40% and the account manager has the audacity to come and say about how he has improved TACOS. A monkey can improve ACOS and TACOS by killing one campaign after another, but that comes at the cost of lost sales, lower KW rankings and eventually higher TACOS. The art of PPC is to improve sales while gradually reducing TACOS. They might have a good system, but it is still being managed by people who are fairly clueless on how a business is run, what role product lifecycle should play in PPC strategy, how to use PPC to rank products. They are especially clueless for markets outside the US. Given the size of the US market even a poor PPC manager can achieve moderate level of success. But this same PPC manager would be a disaster in smaller markets because the impact of their screw ups is much higher and noticeable. Please note, this is not just about your direct account manager, even higher ups are just bothered about one metric - ie ACOS, because that is what they get paid for. If they can achieve lower ACOS, but in the process loose revenue, rankings etc, they count it as a win. They can The sales people will lie through their teeth about what can be achieved. But I would definitely discount pretty much most things they claim. Just stay away.

Much better services out there. We used them for the min amount of time and brought it back inhouse.

Having worked with several agencies, the depth of understanding and innovative solutions Quartile provides is a cut above the rest. Our sales tells the success story.

We came to them already selling 6000+ units per month of a particular product spending 23% of total revenue on ads for a specific product. Our goal is 15%-18% of revenue. They said that they could accomplish that for us and it would be fairly quick since we have a lot of data. We proposed to them to not promote our most profitable product (24K+ ad spend per month) but promote all the others. Quartile insisted that was not a good Idea and it would be best to promote the entire account using their software. We followed their lead and they spent in ads in a week what we spend in a month. They were spending as high as 76% of revenue and after almost a month we were now losing thousands of dollars daily. They said the system will get better and it was a long term investment. It's not worth it if they take a 6 figure per year earning product and have it lose 60K or more for 90days to maybe improve to 5% better. That mean it would take over a year just to recoup our money + the profit that we lost. Their shouldn't have to take a campaign that's profitable performing at 23% to 76% to get better. Their system is flawed. If you have good performing campaigns no matter what they will start off from scratch and will always tell you to import the campaigns that you spend the most money on even if they're performing great because then they can charge you more. We took over the campaigns after their system failed and got the campaigns to 29% in a few days. After seeing that their software would probably lose us thousands of dollars for months to come, they said it would be best to use our initial strategy from the beginning. The same strategy that they said was not a good idea. They them blamed us for the loss in profit and practically everything that could have been deemed negative to the account. When we attempted to cancel, the system does not let you cancel. It says someone will follow up with you in a few days then someone will attempt to keep you using them after they've failed. We then said cancel our account and sent us confirmation. They never sent confirmation, said that we would be charged another bill since the next billing cycle occurs within 30 days and never responded to us again after various request for a cancellation receipt.
