BUYER BEWARE — DO NOT BUY FROM PYRODRONE!
Absolutely disgraceful customer service. Zero accountability. They have permanently lost my business. I purchased a brand-new RadioMaster transmitter from PyroDrone, only to receive a defective product straight out of the box. I contacted them immediately after receiving the package, expecting a reputable retailer to do the right thing and exchange the defective unit. Instead, they chose to hide behind the manufacturer’s warranty process and push the problem onto me. Here’s what makes this especially unacceptable: PyroDrone’s own policy states that they will handle the manufacturer’s warranty process for their customers. Yet when I actually needed that service, they refused to stand behind their own policy. There is an enormous difference between a product that fails after months of use and one that arrives defective right out of the box. I never even had the opportunity to use the product I paid for! As a business owner myself, I find this treatment absolutely appalling. When you sell a customer a defective product, you take responsibility and make it right. You exchange the item and handle whatever warranty issues you have with your supplier. You do not make your customer jump through hoops with the manufacturer over a product that was defective upon delivery. This is basic customer service. It’s called standing behind what you sell. My advice to anyone considering purchasing from PyroDrone: DON’T. There is absolutely no reason to give your money to a middleman who refuses to take responsibility when something goes wrong. Buy directly from the manufacturer or find a retailer that actually values its customers and stands behind its products. A company’s true character isn’t revealed when everything goes smoothly. It’s revealed when there’s a problem and they have an opportunity to make things right. PyroDrone failed that test miserably. They have lost my business permanently. I will never purchase another product from them, and I strongly encourage others to avoid them as well. No accountability. No integrity. No respect for the customer. BUYER BEWARE. Spend your money elsewhere.
