I belong to Kaiser, and getting GLP1 meds there felt impossible. So I went online and saw lots of positive recommendations for Preventive on Reddit. The price is 1/4 of the Kaiser price (and yes, that’s because the medication is compounded). There are some forms to complete, but they are straightforward. Medication arrives fast, packed in ice packs. And there’s an online advisor available to help with questions about dosing, injections, side effects, etc. That said, if you have any health conditions, especially digestive issues, eating disorders, thyroid, or pancreas problems, you should work with a doctor who is well trained and experienced with these meds. For some people, there are risks that should be managed carefully. And online providers don’t offer that level of care.
