UPDATE TO MY ORIGINAL REVIEW: I wanted to come back and update my original review because I think it’s important to give the same energy to recognizing when someone makes things right as you do when expressing disappointment. Our experience with Pretty Films definitely had some bumps along the way, particularly with communication and coordination leading up to our wedding. Those frustrations were very real, and because this was our wedding and something we can never recreate, Alexander and I were understandably disappointed. That being said, I’m very happy to say that the story didn’t end there. Once our concerns were heard, Alena genuinely stepped up and worked to turn our experience around. Her communication and follow-up were excellent. She listened to what we were saying, stayed in contact, checked back in, and most importantly, made us feel like our concerns actually mattered. Considering communication had been one of our biggest frustrations from the beginning, her attentiveness made a huge difference in how we ultimately felt about the experience. The changes we requested were made, and the final films feel much more personal and reflective of us. My husband and I are genuinely happy with how everything ultimately came together. I’ve always believed you learn a lot more about a business by how they handle a problem than by how they handle things when everything goes perfectly. Pretty Films had the opportunity to listen to our concerns and make things right, and they did. Were there things I wish had gone differently from the beginning? Absolutely. But I also believe in being fair and giving credit where it’s due. Alena’s professionalism, consistent communication, and genuine follow-through completely changed the direction of our experience. My husband and I can now look back at our films and simply enjoy the memories of an amazing day, and ultimately, that’s what we wanted all along. Thank you Alena for listening, following through, and making sure our experience ultimately had a happy ending. ❤️

Our videos and photos just arrived, and we can't stop watching everything over and over again! We are so happy with the experience we had, and we highly recommend their services to everyone!

We absolutely love our wedding video! They even used the songs we picked and recommended a couple more that fit perfectly when we weren't sure what to choose. The whole film turned out beautifully. Highly recommend!

Just watched our wedding video again and cried all over again. So grateful to have these memories forever. Highly recommend!

We booked them last minute to do our video. Our portal was ready the day after we booked them and had our questionnaires for us to pick out the music and finish our timeline. It was very easy. On the wedding day our videographer was amazing. Our videos were ready in under a month.

I hired Pretty Films for my Wedding on Oct 4, 2005 and didn't get my draft of teaser, highlight and movie videos until mid December! They totally didn't read my email to add in a folder of footage I sent earlier. The 1st round of edits (that was super straight forward) took 3 months and I got it March 10th, 2026 - and it's now it's worse. Someone just threw in an 8 minute speech unedited with no music into the Highlight! nothing is in sequence...just awful. My project coordinator didn't respond to my initial calls or emails - it was after 10+ attempts for them to respond. Also overcharged my credit card.

I would give them negative 10000 stars. I should have known better. Communication was terrible from the start. They wouldn’t give me information on my videopgrapher up until a few days before. My photographer was worried and she should have been! The freelancer showed up with his wife and his 8 year old son (wtf). He was polite but I felt bad for him sitting in the corner at our adult only wedding. After the real fun began. I just got a call today. Four months after our wedding, after numerous check ins and promises that that it’s coming and stories why it’s delayed, I’m told that the files were corrupted during upload and the grifter family is nowhere to be found. My wedding footage is gone. They waited four months, regaled me with lies and I’ve lost a memory I can never have back. I am devastated. Please please please learn from me. Don’t hire them ever for any reason. You could be next.

As a wedding photographer with nearly 15 years in the industry, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside many videographers and creative professionals. Unfortunately, my recent experience with a subcontractor hired by this company was not a positive one. On the day of the wedding, I found it difficult to collaborate with the videographer. Despite my efforts to communicate clearly — particularly around ceremony logistics that had already been discussed with the couple during their rehearsal — I encountered resistance and dismissiveness. Key moments of the ceremony and reception were impacted by a lack of coordination and communication, and unfortunately, his presence and attitude were noticed not just by myself, but by guests as well. While filming, the subcontractor was often on his phone. He also missed part of the couple’s first dance — a really important and emotional moment. They managed to get wide shots of the first dance, because his wife was there with her kit already set up, but he was late, and pushed several guests out of the way so he could come into the room. These guests informed me after the dance. I also received guest feedback expressing concern over the way he interacted with them and myself, which was disappointing as he was talking to guests about how he dislikes the photographer. Extremely unprofessional. After the wedding, the couple shared their teaser and final film with me. The edits themselves were visually impressive and beautifully structured — credit where it’s due. However, I did notice a recurring shadow across much of the footage which detracted from the overall presentation. Given how stunning the rest of the film is, it was surprising to see this issue left in the final version. I share this not to discredit the company’s work as a whole, but in the hope that this feedback supports greater quality control over subcontractors and post-production. At the end of the day, we all want to deliver the best possible experience for our couples — and that only happens when we work together with mutual respect and professionalism.
