As someone who knew nothing about DevSecOps this course (Certified DevSecOps Professional) is fantastic start. The course videos are great, no more than 2 videos for starting each chapter is nice, having more videos might be too much. Jumping right into the labs is very nice as you learn better hands on. I was able to understand all the basic concepts important to DevSecOps, all the most commonly used open source tools for SCA, SAST, DAST, IaC, CaC, and how to run them with docker. Overall very happy with that. Labs are fantastic, the structure of the steps are very well done, instructions are clear, explanations are clear, labs are small bite sized chunks making it easy to absorb, and each code line is explained well. ***Selecting how happy you are with the lab is very slow (happy faces).*** However here is my criticism, the course is "Professional" but it felt more like "Basics". Each chapter taught me the concept, the tools, and how to use the tools. However that's it, it ends there, there is no deeper insight, configurations, scenarios, debugging common problems, etc. It felt very surface level. IaC was good but felt lacking in tools and content, it was just Ansible. CaC still doesn't make any sense, not enough material, feels rushed. Getting the pipeline setup is like 30% of the work, debugging daily common problems is the other 70%. There was no mention of maintaining the artifacts and recommended practices, maintaining GitLab and security permissions, setting up groups, dealing with legacy, how to mature your pipeline, process of upgrading pipeline tools, etc. I understand these are out of scope, but it would've been nice to see. I looked at the Expert (CDE) course syllabus, this course goes deeper into the security of the pipeline and expands on the tools, so I'm quite happy that it's offered and will be enrolling very soon. Overall 8/5/10.0, however you have lots of optional labs and I learned a lot from them, therefore 9.2/10.0 Thanks

Very educational, lots of great hands-on experiences with a mix of presentations and guided lab work for you to gain a full understanding of DevSecOps. I highly recommend the CDP course for anyone interested in leaning about DevSecOps. I got experience in multiple CI/CD systems, and was exposed to various tools for SAST SCA, DAST, IaC and CaC.

Training well set up, responsive support to help with issues. I found the learnings I was looking for. Time extension for the labs on the pricey side.

Labs are great, videos might be a little more informative to provide insights into more complex subjects of devsecops, that are not part of pipeline-as-a-code structure.

Excellent way of teaching DevSecOps. The way they have structured the module is comprehensive and creates good base. After doing this course one can easily start working on DevSecOps by implementing these knowledge and it also teaches to fine tune the tools and pipelines which makes it more perfect. I really got benefited from this certification and will definitely recommend others to try this.
