Great instructor! We did a hybrid session with our league team. We focused on just fundamentals. I can’t tell you how much my skills improved with just learning basic fundamentals! Also purchased his 3 tool set to continue working on my skills. It is a must have! I highly encourage anyone wanting to step up their game to book a session with him!

I’ve taken lessons from several instructors over the years, but nothing compares to working with Anthony Beeler. His level of knowledge is incredible, but what impressed me most was how he could simplify everything and make it immediately usable in my game. Anthony didn’t just show me what to do — he explained why the shot works, how to see angles, and how to repeat the same stroke under pressure. His BAM Aiming Method and Vision Center concepts completely transformed the way I look at the table. He was patient, prepared, and genuinely invested in my improvement. Anthony Took My Game to a Whole New Level I booked a lesson with Anthony after hearing his name from several top players, and now I understand why he’s so highly recommended. From the first five minutes, he spotted things in my stance, stroke, and alignment that no one had ever mentioned before. Anthony teaches with a level of clarity that makes everything “click.” His shot-angle system, visuals, and training tools don’t just improve your technique — they change the way you think about the game. I left every lesson feeling like I unlocked something new. What really stood out to me was how encouraging he was. He never rushed, never talked over my head, and he made sure I understood each concept before moving on. This was a great experience. Mr Beeler has an incredible amount of knowledge that he provides at your level of need whether you are an APA 2 or 9. He has a comprehensive curriculum he uses to make sure you have a solid foundation. Then hes has other books and tools so you dont have to take exhaustive notes while he shows you where you can improve. Then hes goes through advanced information that I had never seen or understood before. I am a 7/8 in APA and it was an enlightening experience that I would recommend for any player.

As someone just starting my journey on how to play billiards my research revealed to me that I needed a teacher who has played at a high-level and was well recognized as an outstanding teacher. I started looking online for a teacher that could take me from the very basics to the most advanced level that I desired. I found Anthony’s virtual academy and it seemed to offer everything I was looking for at a reasonable price. I reached out to Anthony and enrolled in his course. It started me out very basic ( this is the parts of a cue stick) and worked me through all the fundamentals at my pace. Once you have the fundamentals down it was a very easy transition to the next level of training. One of the best surprises for me was his interaction during every segment of the course. It was a true virtual experience at the highest level. He really reinforces that you understand what you’re doing and why. His training programs are very well laid out and build off of each other. I like that he offers many training aids to help reinforce and give you a visual of what you’re trying to achieve. Anthony was able to answer all the questions that I had and there were many. I was so impressed with his course and his knowledge that I went and spent three days at his academy in Kentucky. At his academy, I was able to take what I was learning and put it into practice while enrolling in the next series of courses. I can’t say enough great things about his academy. Anthony is probably one of the nicest and most patient people -you will ever meet. His virtual academy will have you wanting to visit his physical Academy. I can still reach out to Anthony for advice. If you’re just beginning your journey or you have played for a long time and want to really improve, I highly recommend Anthony.

Anthony Beeler is the best at what he does! The best pool instructor out there. This book will give you insight and guidance that few have beem privy to up until now. The illustrations and photos are excellent. I've been playing pool for 60 years. This is the best book of its' kind that I have read.

I shopped around for the right personal instruction before deciding on Anthony's Virtual Billiard Academy. 5 hours a day, over 3 days was just the balance in order to absorb the lessons, without being overwhelmed. Anthony's approach was to quickly evaluate my skill level and then adapt his lesson plan to focus on the areas where I needed improvement. I attended with a friend who is a couple of levels above me. Anthony had no problem teaching to our individual needs without compromising either of our experiences. In my case, I got a lot out of understanding how my alignment impacts my stroke timing and accuracy. I was amazed at how comfortable it felt when I was properly positioned. I had always struggled with longer shots, which I see a lot of since I play mostly on 9 foot tables. Proper alignment and pre-shot routine made a profound difference in my potting ability on those shots. I now see the value in taking the time to stick to my routine on every one of those shots. The other thing was aiming. I had already been using a system where I used my cue tip to align with the cue ball and object ball edges for different angles. But I never had any science to it. Anthony's BAM system gave me that missing piece. When I returned, my shot-making dramatically improved. Many people have been complimenting me on my play because the difference is noticeable. I must say that BAM takes some effort to get used to. After a while, you can readily recognize a 30 degree vs a 22.5 degree, etc. Once you can master that, it is amazing how consistent you can become on 90% of your shots. One big help in progressing with the BAM system was using the aides that Anthony sells. I purchased the stroke alignment and the angle template, along with his newest book. All of which I use regularly in my practice sessions on my home table. Another value is the follow-up availability, which I have already used a couple of times. One of the things you need to be aware of is that Anthony lives in the country. It is a long 11 mile road to get there from the main road. All fine during the day. At night it is a bit of a white knuckle drive. Overall, this was money well-spent and I highly recommend Beeler's VBA to players of any skill level.
