My journey back to health
My journey has been long, exhausting, and deeply frustrating—but I am profoundly grateful it finally led me to the Pompa Program. Learning about hidden dental cavitations through the program and my outstanding coach, Brooke Kersten, may have literally saved my life. I started behind the eight-ball from day one—born into a toxic environment of second-hand smoke, then blindsided in adolescence by undiagnosed Lyme disease, co-infections, and mononucleosis that activated Epstein-Barr virus. Compounding it all was my MTHFR mutation, which left my body unable to detox naturally. For years I had to become my own advocate—self-educating, fighting for every protocol, and slamming into the brick walls of our broken, siloed, and captured medical system. All while silently enduring decades of low-grade infections smoldering from poorly healed dental procedures. When I finally saw the results of my CBCT scan, I broke down in tears. But this time they were tears of relief—because at last, I had real answers, and I found them in time. With Brooke’s expert guidance and the support of a rare M.D. who truly listens and partners with me, we’re coordinating lab work that is clearly proving the surgery and deep detox protocols are restoring balance and vitality to my body. Now, at 65, after decades of knowing something was deeply wrong—despite “normal” blood tests that said I was fine—I finally feel in control of my health for the first time in my life. I’m one month out from surgery, right in the thick of the tough detox phase, but I’m optimistic. I’ve found the root cause. With the Pompa Program and Brooke by my side, I’m on the road to truly reclaiming my health.
