Great people to work with and very informative

This company is a scam, they send defective cheap units with Chinese instructions, their call centre customer service is located in the philipines, they will try to milk you out of every dollar, theres no way in getting into contact with a supervisor or anything in California after ordering they asked me to pay an additional $20 to upgrade the unit, after i had already paid and waited 2 weeks, after waiting for a month i got a defective unit purposely sent an absolute nightmare, they sent me a board that was supposed to fix the unit using the slowest shipping method whilst my car was disassembled. waited for 3 weeks and that board obviously didnt fix it. they didnt want to send me a return label after 2 weeks of fighting and getting the bank involved they finally sent a return label. after they received the unit, they sent me a partial refund and asking for my paypal account to send me the rest, absolute scam, the customer service dont know anything, they'll hang up on you and keep making false promises. if you are unlucky enough to order from these guys, get your bank involved immediately. Please look at reviews to see what people went through before buying. this happened multiple times not just with me. PHEONIX AUTOMOTIVE IS A DROPSHIPPING HUB THEY ARE NOT LOCATED IN CALIFORNIA! THEY USE A RANDOM WAREHOUSE IN CALIFORNIA TO SEND CHEAP UNITS FROM CHINA DIRECTLY WITHOUT INSPECTIONS, THEY ARE LOCATED IN THE PHILIPPINES.

The product was delivered completely plug-n-play as advertised, however, without written instructions. This was known in advance, because they provide tutorial-like videos on Youtube™. Customer service was excellent, as the service provided was prompt and complete. The product issue, which turned out to be an error in the way I had made a connection, was resolved in one phone call. The technician, Ben, was most helpful in resolving the problem. I highly recommend the company and their products.
