So this is legit and works BUT if you have a therapist and just need a letter for an apartment, they can do it for free. And if you need the registration for the certification, it’s still half the price. I was in a bind and needed it asap and didn’t think to email my therapist. Also, the therapist I met with rescheduled me for an hour and a half later and then she was over 30 mins late. I didn’t love that but I got my letter. So I wish that they were cheaper…

My interview went well and I received the Comfort Dog letter quite quickly. However, I had an unexpected expenditure of $50 to Pettables due to extra paperwork required by my apartment complex. My biggest upset is that AFTER I had everything processed there imbedded within the last paragraph at the bottom of the interview is the fact that the letter is only good for 1 year. I thought that it would be final. This upset me greatly! Will I have to go through the entire process again and pay again for next year? This is not much of a savings, indeed!

In the beginning all seemed alright. I filled out the information well from what I thought. It was time for the appointment for as lakia was super sweet at first she then asked me to fill out another form that was supposed to be sent before the appointment. Once it was filled out I sent her a message and all of a sudden she was extremely rude to me. The letter was sent but I was appalled by the tone she gave me.

Pettable's website promises, "We'll match you to a professional in your state." However, I'm in Pennsylvania and was matched to a therapist across the country in California. Also, the therapist's letterhead is "Perinatal Counseling Services," but my disability has nothing to do with pregnancy and infant child care. I give three stars, because I got an ESA letter, but somewhat disappointed.

Quick, timely service! However, I did not feel valued as a customer. The phone call was very quick and did not feel personalized/comfortable. It would have been helpful knowing what to do/prepare for when initially signing up and paying for service as well as a list of what to expect during the call with the therapist. I appreciated the reminders for the appointment.

The doctor was excellent and friendly. The appointment went smooth and quick. I received the documents Within a couple hours. I did need one form filled out by the doctor from my landlord. The document only needed his name address and signature. The service is pricey and the document required minimal effort. I got charged in additional $50 for the additional form which is an obscene amount of money for the effort the form required.

The only thing that I was a little iffy about was that I reached out to support prior to my appointment about doing a chat session because phone calls make me super anxious and they said it was fine as well as the therapist I had and then my appointment time came and I got asked my questions and then heard nothing back so I reached out a half hour after my appointment time and was told that they made an exception and that they don’t normally do it that way and that I would be reviewed when she was done with other appointments but I was never aware of what was going on during my scheduled session time .
