About PetroSky

PetroSky LLC is a VPS hosting provider running AMD EPYC servers with NVMe PCIe 4/5 storage in Equinix datacenters in Quebec City (Canada) and Paris (France). We never overbook capacity: every VPS gets the CPU and RAM it was sold, backed by 99.9% uptime and active load balancing.Plans start at €6.99/month and include Windows Server 2022/2025 at no extra cost — no license fee — or your choice of Linux (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS 9/10, AlmaLinux). Every server ships with NVMe storage, 10 Gbps networking with unmetered bandwidth on a fair-use basis, DDoS protection, full root or administrator access, and deployment in about 30 seconds.Traders run MT4 and MT5 on our low-latency infrastructure, colocated in the same Equinix facilities as AWS, Cloudflare, and major ISPs. Developers use us for databases, build servers, and app testing; Hybrid plans add nested virtualization and 3D acceleration for Android emulators.Support is available 24/7 by ticket and live chat, in English and French. Every purchase is covered by a 7-day money-back guarantee - enough time to run your own benchmarks before you commit.

When technical support fails you

I recently had a frustrating experience with the PetroSky technical support team that I feel needs to be shared. I was dealing with a massive issue on my VPS and instead of getting the help I needed, the support staff just made the whole experience worse. Petros Sahakyan, staff member, blamed me for the problems and claimed I had broken things that I have absolutely no idea of. He said the issue was due to high memory usage but when I showed that the memory usage is in fact low and the memory reporting on their dashboard is broken, he accused me of somehow breaking it. Nevertheless his initial solution was for me to upgrade my instance claiming it would solve the problem. This felt like a despicable sales tactic meant to avoid the real issues, especially since their stat reporting was clearly faulty. Throughout this painful experience, there was a clear refusal to provide any real assistance or to seriously investigate the actual technical problem I was facing. My experience with PetroSky was extremely disappointing, with poor customer service and terrible technical support. I cannot recommend PetroSky if you’re looking for reliable hosting or VPS services. At the time of writing this review, the issue is still unsolved.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We take all reviews seriously and are working on clearly and efficiently serving all our customers. To be precise, the problems with your VPS started after you tried to reset system identifiers like UID and HWID using third-party tools. This may lead to unpredictable behavior and is not supported by our service. We don't take responsibility for any complications caused by unsupported modifications; this includes spoofing or tampering with system components. Our system administrator, Petros, put quite an effort to try and help you and offered to reinstall your VPS, which would have solved your problem. You, however, declined that solution. We also advised an upgrade because after the modifications, the resource monitoring on your VPS was broken, falsely showing 100% of memory usage. That was a reason for our suggestion to upgrade. We are honest in our service recommendations and would never pitch sales for any issue. We want your services to be running smoothly, and resource upgrades are the common solutions when there are resource constraints found. We always value our customers, we are sorry to see this situation has caused dissatisfaction. We will do our best to assist you further if you are willing to take our recommended solutions. Sincerely, PetroSky - Support Team.
