We had a somewhat non-standard bond request and Cynthia Cooper was upfront that it might be difficult, but that they had a big portfolio of resources. It took a little while to find the right surety company, but they succeeded and the bond was issued and my transaction moved forward. During the process, one of their EVPs, Tom Buckner even reached out to explain what was going on. I am very grateful.

I was most pleased with the service on this last bond. It was for a good customer who previously had three bonds through VBS. This last one was needed in an extremely urgent time and the underwriter with whom I had worked previously was ill. The support staff at VBS reacted quickly to my need and were superior in helping speed up the process. Fortunately, the customer was pre-qualified so it made getting the new bond issued and overnighted to customer in a timely manner that exceeded the customer's request. We have a very pleased customer and high congratulations to VBS!
