Peepers Reading GlassesReviews of peeperspecs.com

Shipping time was way too long. There was a full week in between the time I completed my order and the time they actually shipped the glasses and then, the wrong address was put on the shipping label (NOT due to my entry) which caused further delays. The product is about what I expected, not super good quality, but okay for the price.

I purchased a pair of Peepers glasses. The style was very unique. The frame appeared to be very sturdy, though I did have a problem. For the heck of it, I decided to reach out to the company through their website. I received a reply within the hour,on a Sunday no less. I then sent an explanation of my problem and I included a photo. I received a replacement within a week. The customer service is excellent. I would purchase another pair and recommend them to my friends.

I have had 4 pairs of peepers frame Crack. I find the quality as the same as Dolksr Tree. I'd rather be out of $1.25 a pair versus Peepers prices! Please note I am gentle with my glasses. Always keep in case or on my bedside table.

I received a second complement yesterday in just this week for my Peepers progressive glasses. I get at least one complement a week since I purchased them 6 months ago. Out of box, the prescription was perfect at all lengths - distance, computer/arms length and reading - I've had lots of returns with other prescriptions and glasses in the past with other companies. Plus, I have a habit of dropping my glasses ( and my slippery cell phone) all the time - I am impressed at the durability of the Peepers glasses - dropped glasses haven't resulted in a broken frame nor a scratched lens. I also love that they are lightweight. This summer, I purchased the same progressives in a sunglass from Peepers - I love them too, as I can actually see my phone screen in the daylight with them on while feeling an immediate difference in glare. My optometrist recommended them to me, and I want to pass on that recommendation - the price is low but not the quality!

I loved my Peepers at first but at $99, my expectation was that it would last longer than a year. The plastic at the hinge rotted and now my Peepers are worthless. This is the first time a pair of my reading glasses broke before I lost them myself. I think I will go back to the $2/pair from the drugstore.

I bought a pair at the airport and I was happy with them. Less than a year went by and I was wearing them and I heard a pop. The plastic frame just broke. I didn't think much of it, so I found a retailer and rushed to Whole Foods to buy another pair. I had this pair for a month. I was working on my computer and I heard a familiar pop. This new pair broke too. I checked their site, and they don't have a warranty, so.... I guess I have to buy another pair. I've had dollar store readers last longer. Don't waste your money.

Style looked great online. When I got them I could tell that they were really light, almost cheap feeling. I purchased the progressive readers. The magnifying part of the lens is tiny, you almost have to hd your head back and look straight down. After the first 3 weeks, the lenses are so scratched that they cant be work anymore. Still love the style but I would never purchase them again. I paid $66 for $5 CVS readers.

I have bought OVER 15 pairs of these glasses. They are crap now. Two pairs have broken at the exact same place. Many screws have come out. Customer service is automated and just awful.
