This company has been very rude and unpleasant people that are very unprofessional. I had to complain about a client and how improper to message me back to confirm their time. They treated me unpleasant and unprofessionally. They don't have a proper system to send clients messages just through the app and not by having texting like Rover. They have a poor way of contacting them. I hope they will be out of business soon as they don't take things for the ones who are the pet walker or sitter. On most apps there are mandatory to have the pictures of their pets and the owners as a safety precaution. Because I felt they needed to know what the issue was they deleted my account. Very childish and uncalled for. Definitely notice the BBB for unprofessional people!

First, anyone who is looking to sign up to Pawshake, this is just an advertising platform for sitters where owners can book you through. They take 19% of all booking for 'insurance' but if you are looking to become a serious pet sitter then get your own insurance! Over all Pawshake has been very useful to me as a pet sitter. For me, it’s a good way to advertise my services and communicate with clients. I now own my own pet sitting business but still except some bookings through the site. However, after having many 5-star reviews and an 'excellent' profile they unpublished my account after I didn't reply to an email about returning keys to I client that didn't go through with the booking in the end. I already returned the keys the day before I even got the email. The problem was the email sent to me, from Pawshake, went into my spam folder so I didn't see it right away and it didn't ask for a reply in the email. After contacting the support team back, after realising my accounts had been unpublished they didn't put my profile back up until 5 WHOLE DAYS later! I most likely lost business due to this. (they didn't try to contact me in any other way like text, phone, letter) While I was trying to sort this, many emails got sent back and forth from someone called Sam, I'm guessing just a generic name used. He said it was my fault for not checking my spam folder for important messages, that I wasn’t even expecting. The team member I spoke to just lacked basic customer service. They didn’t try and explain why this had happened or why there was such a long delay to getting my profile back up. No apology was given, they barely seemed bothered about my stressful situation at all, just plain rude. I don’t think this will change the way I use Pawshake. It doesn’t reflect the high-level service I give and has no effects on the relationship I have with each client and their pets.

I had account for some time already but for more than a year I have not used it while I had a regular job. A few weeks ago I activated it again and they asked me to update all the information. That was OK and acceptable, I did it after a few tries and a few days later they finally accepted my profile. It was frustrating but I did it. My girl also opened an account and she needed 3 weeks to do so. Every time was something "wrong" but it was a bug in their system. We got the feeling that they declined on purpose. Maybe there is nothing to do in the company so responding with negative feedback employees spending their time. What was too much for me is that after my profile was accepted, I realized that I have one small grammar mistake. One word was written wrong so I corrected it. After that, they deactivated my account again! For only one word changed they told me to update new pictures, new descriptions, photos of location in and out... so I should update everything that was already accepted. That was the point where I was sure that they are doing this on purpose. I am not their user anymore and for 19% provision they are taking behavior should be changed. Of course, they didn't reply to my email when asking why I need to update everything again. Stay away.

The dog sitter broke my washing machine and my dishwasher. Admitted to it and pawshake said it’s not their problem and offered no solution. Completely unacceptable

Stay Away! It’s a scam! Pawshake doesn’t care about their customer or their pets, they just want to make money. My dog got sick during a pet sitters care and it should be covered by their insurance, they declined to cover my medical cost which cost more the $1000. The pet sitter was also extremely irresponsible and rude towards me, I asked Pawshake to move my dog to another sitter and they said they will not do it because they don’t see the need to do so. There is also no telephone line to reach a customer service officer, had to wait more than one month to get a reply from them about the solution. On top of that, they removed my review from the pet sitter’s Pawshake page for no reason. I want to warn pet owners against Pawshake and their iresponaible pet sitters.

Giving Pawshake 5 stars, because of their excellent customer service. I've had a bad experience with one of the petsitters and they immediately did everything in their power to make sure everything was OK. They take their customers very serious. They immediately asked how my dog was doing and gave me a lot of space to vent ;-) I felt understood & listened to and they gave me a refund. I think that the most important part in this situations is, that you feel taken seriously. And that was definitely the case. I also want to point out that I've only had one bad experience with a petsitter and this was not the fault of Pawshake, this was just a situation of someone who pretended to be caring & nice, while they were the opposite. The other petsitters have been great :) Thanks Pawshake!
