This ground school takes a very practical approach to learning all the "stuff" needed for the FAA written exam. Starting with the fundamentals, it takes you all the way through all the necessary subjects, in terms I can relate to and absorb. Working great for me!

This seems like one of the best online ground school programs you can use. All the things I'm considering when choosing one keeping pointing me back in the direction of Part Time Pilot, and the reviews I've heard from people in my local Facebook aviation group say that the founder is very enthusiast about helping us understand every single concept. He said the material is perhaps a bit too detailed sometimes, but, would you rather it be the opposite? Nope. Also that there is room for improvement in the quality and quantity of comprehensive simulations/animations/demonstrations. But, the owner said he is actively searching for solutions for this area of criticism.

So far, I have enjoyed the lessons, they are quick and allow me to take my time with it. Good explanations, and love the self pace and encouragement.

I am starting from scratch and 70% into the lessons I feel like I’ve gotten my investments worth already. I recently went on vacation and predicted very low level weather as in fog the night before based on TV forecast and the lessons within this program. My wife was shocked but it allowed us to change plans for the next day. It’s a struggle with life and a kid so being able to stop and pick back up later is great - Thank You!

The ONLY downfall that I have to the program, is that there is no support for the Sport Pilot. There is a need for the Sport Pilot Community and the testing is a bit different. Other than that I would have given it a FIVE :)

Hi! Thank you for the review. I spoke to you through email about how our course is specific to Private Pilot but that I was able to endorse you and offer you a discount for our course if you were still set on purchasing it to study for Sport pilot. I also sent you a document that listed the differences between sport and private pilot so that you could be aware of what to expect. Not sure that this review is applicable to our course since we are specifically Private Pilot only at the moment. Thanks again!
A few typos but nothing major, a few better visualization would be better (maybe hire someone on fivver to do an animation to the Audio of the video during things shown on the white board) Please make it more compatible with iPhones / iPads. Over all really good value.

Hello and thank you for the review! I apologize for the minor typos. We have recently enlisted some help in finding and correcting those. We also just added our first animated video! We are looking to implement more animations to our over 80 videos that are found in the course. We are excited for that and all our users will get free updates in their lifetime access to those. Can you share with us how the course was not compatible with iPhones or iPads? Our students use the course every day on those devices with no issue but if there is one I would love to understand it so that it can be corrected. Thank you so much for the review.
