Just to give the context her - GoChess XR is a Kickstarter project, which means customers are supporting the development and production of a completely new product that did not exist before. This type of campaign involves a longer and more complex process compared to purchasing an already available item, as it includes engineering, testing, and manufacturing stages before delivery. We’re sorry to hear how disappointed you feel, but we would like to clarify a few important facts for transparency: Facts: Particula has sold over 1,000,000 units worldwide across multiple product lines. We have shared Kickstarter and Indiegogo updates openly about delays, challenges, and technical hurdles throughout the project. We have successfully delivered GoChess Mini and GoChess Lite to thousands of happy customers around the world. Our team is working relentlessly on GoChess XR, which is our most complex and ambitious product to date. Regarding shipping: The shipping fee was collected before the major delays, in order to secure logistics and fulfillment planning at the time. Since then, global shipping costs have increased dramatically, and we did not pass any of that increase on to backers. We fully understand how difficult the delay has been, and we acknowledge that frustration is natural. But the suggestion that this was done to deceive or disappear does not reflect the reality of a company that continues to deliver products globally and actively develop its flagship project. We remain fully committed to completing and delivering GoChess XR. Just adding the relevant context - GoChess XR is a Kickstarter project, which means customers are supporting the development and production of a completely new product that did not exist before. This type of campaign involves a longer and more complex process compared to purchasing an already available item, as it includes engineering, testing, and manufacturing stages before delivery. We’re truly sorry to hear about your frustration, and we understand why the long development timeline has caused concern. GoChess XR is an extremely ambitious and complex product, and while progress has taken longer than expected, the project is very much active and moving forward. It’s important to clarify that Particula is not a new or unproven company. We have delivered more than 1,000,000 products worldwide, including GoCube, GoDice, GoChess Lite, GoChess Mini, and our recent Wizard Chess edition. All used and reviewed by customers today. This reflects our long-term commitment to delivering real products, not abandoning projects. For GoChess XR, delays have come from genuine engineering and manufacturing challenges, which we have been sharing in detailed project updates. The system involves multi-robot coordination, real-time detection, and advanced mechanics that required extra development time to ensure long-term reliability. We acknowledge that communication gaps during the holiday period were not ideal, and we are already improving that. A detailed project update is scheduled to be released shortly with the latest progress and next steps. We remain fully committed to completing GoChess XR and delivering the product our backers supported. Adding the relevant context - GoChess XR is a Kickstarter project, which means customers are supporting the development and production of a completely new product that did not exist before. This type of campaign involves a longer and more complex process compared to purchasing an already available item, as it includes engineering, testing, and manufacturing stages before delivery. We’re truly sorry for your frustration, and we understand why the long wait has been disappointing. GoChess XR is still actively in development, and while progress has taken much longer than originally planned, the project has not been abandoned. Our delays came from real engineering challenges, not from lack of work or communication. That said, you’re absolutely right that updates should have been more frequent. We are preparing a new project update now with clearer next steps and timing. If you’d like us to look into your pledge specifically, please reach out anytime through our support portal so we can assist directly: https://support.particula-tech.com/hc/en-us/requests/new Thank you for your patience. GoChess XR is a Kickstarter project, which means customers are supporting the development and production of a completely new product that did not exist before. This type of campaign involves a longer and more complex process compared to purchasing an already available item, as it includes engineering, testing, and manufacturing stages before delivery. ** Update - beta of GoChess XR is starting very soon and first customers will receive it. This is not a fail to deliver but a great milestone in the release of our product. We’re truly sorry for your frustration and understand how disappointing the long delay has been. GoChess XR has faced significant engineering challenges, which pushed the timeline far beyond what we originally planned. That said, the project has not been abandoned, and development is still actively moving forward. We also acknowledge that our communication cadence has not always met expectations, and we are working to improve this with clearer, more consistent updates going forward. It may also help to know that Particula has successfully delivered over 1,000,000 products worldwide, including GoCube, GoDice, GoChess Lite, and GoChess Mini: all real products in customers’ hands today. Thank you so much for this heart warming feedback.

We’re sorry to hear about your frustration, and we’d like to clarify an important point for anyone reading this review. The GoChess XR was backed through a crowdfunding platform, not purchased as a finished, in-stock product. Crowdfunding supports the development of new products from the ground up, and timelines can change when unexpected engineering challenges arise. This is very different from a standard retail purchase. During this development process, Particula has already delivered multiple products that originated from crowdfunding, including GoCube, GoDice, and GoChess Lite and Mini. These products have been shipped to tens of thousands of customers worldwide and are sold today via Amazon, major retailers, and well-known global partners. GoChess XR, the robotic version, is still in active development. While delays have occurred, the project is ongoing, transparent updates have been shared with backers, and we are now preparing for an upcoming beta phase as part of the final steps toward release. We understand delays are frustrating, and we remain fully committed to completing and delivering GoChess XR. Anyone with questions about their specific order is always welcome to contact our support team directly so we can assist.
