ParchmentReviews of parchment.com

Charge 7.50 per transcript just to have a disfunctional site that dosnt work on mobile, dosnt accept images of your id taken on any modern phone, and have a website set up so simply but so unefficiently that you have to scroll for ages to find the drop downs you are looking for

Warning: Major FERPA compliance and data breach issue. Parchment delivered an entirely different student's academic transcript and highly sensitive personal records to my account instead of my own. Their online support portal pages are currently down/broken, and their automated chatbot is completely unhelpful.

Worst Customer Service ever! Chat with a Bot who uses script to stall. Then has you wait for nobody to answer questions! How do you get help? Whats the phone number for help?

Extremely disappointed with Parchment. My diploma has been held since July, and it is now September and I still have not received it. I have been waiting for months for a document that I urgently need for my college enrollment process. I have contacted support, but I still have no clear resolution or explanation for this delay. This is unacceptable and has caused me unnecessary stress and frustration. Parchment needs to resolve this issue immediately and provide my diploma without any further delay.

Horrible experience. I made a mistake of ordering the transcript twice and they went ahead and process it anyways…even though I reach out right away and cancel it to get a refund. Then they said once it’s process, you can’t do a refund. Their support system sucks but that was the only way to sent my transcript from my school. I would give them 0 star for support if I could.

The email address had a "K" left out of it. I had 3 transcripts and called and emailed, only to talk to a worthless bot. I need those transcripts for a job, but they keep fumbling around, and nothing has been done in 4 days. Do I have to drive to Arizona to "Luigie" someone just to get this little thing straightened out? Horrible, slow service and no communication! I can't believe how horrible the service is!

Please, for your sake, if you have any other way to get your transcripts, please use it. I recommend bypassing this site all together and contacting your school directly for transcripts. Parchment WILL take your money. Good luck trying to speak to a human, getting tracking information or getting a refund. Everything is AI. I don’t understand how this is a ‘legal’ site. It’s a total scam!!!

This website is incredibly and horribly flawed. First of all it requires you to file all this information about your personal identity in order to link and verify you with your school which makes sense. But then the decide you need a id to get YOUR transcript as if it is not already linked to my email and my password and my address. And I could get over that if they would accept a photo id above 2mb like come on how cheap and crappy does your website have to be to require so much but make it so difficult to receive anything. Then the worst of all filling out the signature would reset the damn website every time. Overall this is the worst website / browser I’ve ever seen and I’m so unbelievably disappointed that schools would entrust our information to such shitty websites
