Pandora Data Recovery MentorReviews of pandorarecovery.com

I’m the idiot who emptied the Trash on macOS when I absolutely didn’t mean to. I tried a few recovery tools I found online, but they only allowed file preview without actual recovery. I didn’t expect finding a working recovery app for a Mac with an M2 chip to be such a challenge (most sites I found claim they can recover data on Mac, but in reality they don’t clearly mention the limitations on Apple silicon and just try to sell the software). Pandora Recovery pointed me to a program that could really help, and it actually worked. That said, they really need to double-check how up to date their guides are. I tried to follow the screenshots step by step, but what I saw on my Mac didn’t fully match them (it looks like the software has been updated since the guide was written).

Not a bad website. I came across it while looking for software to recover deleted photos from my Nikon SD card. I didn’t like the post with the software ranking, because I am not a fan of the "10+ best something" format (I believe there can’t be that many "best" tools). Also, these kinds of posts usually contain only the program names, while everything else is just basic information. But I accidentally found the section with individual software reviews. And that is much more useful. I liked that there are details about the developers, security testing of the software, and a list of file extensions that can be recovered using each tool. So, dislike for the "best of" articles and a big like for the detailed reviews. I hope they will expand this section with reviews of new software.

After accidentally formatting my USB drive, I thought all my work files were gone for good. Thanks to the site’s detailed software comparison, I found a recovery program that actually worked.

I used Pandora Data Recovery Mentor to compare different recovery tools before choosing one. Their guides were clear and their side‑by‑side comparisons saved me from picking a bad one. I got good results overall. They don’t do the recovery themselves, which was a little confusing at first, but the site is trustworthy and useful
