The music supplied in the booklet wasn’t beginner lever. I would like to have received simple melodies to play on the drum. I cannot play any of the music provided not because I don’t know music but that I haven’t memorized the note placement on the drum. This takes a lot of practice time which I don’t have.

not what i expected. rubber on sticks came out as soon as my grandson started playing. I am not sure of the patterns that should be played to achieve its purpose. Overall not helping calming anyone.

Upon doing a refund It says that the refund is fully processed but it is not. I am still missing almost $200 dollars from the purchase. Their team is super responsive - the product came beautiful and extra quality compared to their competitors because of the nice bag and essential items that came with it. However I am still trying to sort out with their team, Panda Drum Affirm, and Shopify which is confusing because all parties are denying responsibility and keep asking me to ask one another because none of them can do anything. It should not be this difficult to process a refund. Beware of this!!

Hi Jenni, thank you for the kind words about the product and our team, and we're sorry this refund has been confusing. The good news: nothing is missing. You purchased through Affirm on a monthly installment plan. That means Affirm was paying us in your place, and your bank was only ever charged the first installment, about $66. The remaining installments were never taken from your account. When your return arrived on August 9, we refunded the full order amount to Affirm the same day. What happens next is standard: Affirm returns to you exactly what you actually paid (your $66 installment) and cancels the rest of the plan, so the remaining ~$199 simply never gets charged. You can confirm this in your Affirm account, the loan should show as closed with a $0 balance. So the "missing" $199 isn't money that left your bank, it's money that will now never leave it. We've also emailed you directly with the exact dates and amounts. If your Affirm account shows anything different, reply to that email and we'll get on a call with Affirm ourselves until it's fixed.
Paid for an expensive one. Sound is not loud. Not good for groups. A real disappointment and then, right after I bougjt the expensive one it went on sale 1/2 price. It’s not great. I would not recommend.

Hi Julie, A quick correction on the price, because it matters: your order was placed at our sale price of $259.95, about half of the $499.95 regular price. The price didn't drop after your purchase, you bought at the lowest price we offer. Current pricing is always visible at pandadrum.com/pages/collection. On the sound: our drums are personal instruments first, designed for playing close up, for relaxation and focus, and that's how we present them. We don't advertise them as group instruments. They can carry a room with good acoustics, and placement makes a real difference, playing over a hard surface projects much more than playing on your lap. Our larger models are also noticeably louder and fuller. Julie, we've reached out to you by email, and whatever you decide, we'll take care of you. Whether that's helping you get more out of your drum, exchanging it, or a simple return and refund, we'll do whatever we can to make this right. Your happiness with the instrument matters more to us than the sale. Panda Drum Team
Didn’t like the item. Given 48 hours turnaround. Impossible thus far to turn around due to inaccessible return code.

Hi April, I'm glad to say this one has a good ending: your return was completed and your order has been fully refunded, with the refund in your account for a while now. We've also emailed you directly to confirm everything. I'm sorry the start was bumpy. Our self-service return portal finds your order using the order number or email address from your original purchase, and when they don't match, it can't locate the order, which is what blocked you at first. Our team helped sort it out shortly after, and your feedback is a nudge for us to make that step clearer in the portal itself, so thank you for that. Returns should feel as easy as ordering, April, and we'll keep working until they do. If there's anything else at all, just reply to our email, we're always happy to hear from you. Panda Drum Team

Hi Thomas, You were right to be frustrated, and I'm sorry. For 2 days our responses were slower than the standard we hold ourselves to, and it left you feeling unheard. That should never happen, least of all to someone simply asking for help with a return. The good news: your return was completed and your refund has been fully processed, so everything is resolved on your end. We've also written to you personally. Thank you for your patience with us, Thomas. We're a small team, and every customer genuinely matters here, even when a return is the outcome. We'd welcome you back any time, and either way, we wish you well. Panda Drum Team
