They scammed me out of $6,250. They promised to publish my autobiography and distribute 1,000 copies to 50 of their client book stores. It was all a scam. I am 82 working 2 jobs to make ends meet and they robbed me. They have a terrible reputation on the Better Business Bureau as a scam outfit. Stay awy from them.

🏃♀️ One month later… and I still have an incomplete manuscript. This has been my personal experience with Oxford Book Writers. I paid $590AUD for publishing services, but after one month my manuscript remains incomplete, and I am extremely disappointed with the lack of progress and communication. Before spending your hard-earned money, do your own research, read reviews from multiple sources, and make an informed decision. My experience has not met my expectations, and I regret trusting this company.

Overall we felt deceived. We found out after we had sent large amounts of funds to "Oxford Book Writers" that they overly charged for services that are available at a fraction of the cost per standard industry and charged for publishing tools that are available for free. We felt spent thousands on social media marketing, and advertising packages, resulting in no book sales to substanciate the spending and their promises. We wanted to meet at their office location, and found out that their business address 124 broadway San Diego does not exist. They rent a Private Mail Box at a third-party retail shipping storefront in Anaheim, CA where mail is re-routed to an overseas location. We found out that their website domain was created in 2024 and registered under an iceland mailing address which we thought was odd. We discovered that they have recently begun transitioning to alternate brand title such as "Oxford Classic Publishers" to refresh their online reputation. We should have checked with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) before signing-up with any business. We found out that "Oxford Book Writers" and their alternate entity "Oxford Classic Publishing" are not a BBB Accredited Business. We also found out that purchasing the ISBN under their business name, will result in the company owning the rights to your book. Something they did not explain.

Title: Paid Over $5,000 – Services Not Delivered by Oxford Book Writers I do not recommend Oxford Book Writers / Kindle Publishing Inc. based on my experience. Between 2023 and 2025, I paid this company over $5,000 for book publishing, editing, and website development services. Despite multiple payments and ongoing communication, the majority of the agreed-upon work has not been completed. In 2023, I paid $1,999 for a website and $2,396 for book-related services. These were never fully delivered. In 2025, I was encouraged to continue working with them and paid an additional $999 with promises that my projects would be completed. This also did not happen. Key issues: * Website never completed * Multiple books not updated as promised * One book not properly compiled * New book (*BloodLine of a Gangsta*) still incomplete * Only partial manuscript work completed (33 pages out of ~200) * Paid services like proofreading and editing not properly delivered I have dealt with multiple representatives throughout this process, and communication has been inconsistent and unproductive. Instead of resolving these issues, I continue to receive general explanations of services rather than actual completed work. At this point, I am seeking either full completion of services or a refund. I would strongly advise others to proceed with caution and ensure all deliverables are clearly defined and met before making payments.

Terrible experience....in the day of AI it's clear Oxford Book Writers are all about quantity and not quality. Too many mistakes to even address as if they had no idea had to publish a book. Mistakes with formats...royalties etc. The minute I told them I was would be self promoting my book they took their foot off the gas and the lack of intrest was evident. The mistakes continued to pile up with every step we took forward we took 2 steps backwards. I would never recommend any author do any type of business with these unscrupulous individuals.
