Linda helped us with our account set up. She was Ah-Mazing! Incredibly knowledgable, patient and organized. She methodically walked us through step by step. Her assistance saved us hours and hours of time.

I am new to the STR side of the business but have been in real estate for about 10 years. I have never had such a thorough and complete onboarding experience in all these years. Lisa was patient, she took notes of all my action items and sent step-by-step instructions for each after the call, and she provided expertise in an area that was very overwhelming for me to start. I went into the call praying she'd be able to help get me off the ground, and left feeling empowered and in control of everything, instead of fearful I may overlook something critical. I am so glad I took the time to schedule the call!

Comprehensive solution to managing multiple property integrations with multiple channels. Excellent integrations with other 3rd party solutions; e.g. automatic code generation & management ofschlage Encode locks, dynamic pricing platforms (I use Beyond), etc. Excellent tutorials and education; I was particularly impressed with the 1.5 hours they spend on a video call to orient me and jump start onboarding. The rep was very knowledgeable.

The onboarding team was superb, attentive and available at any time. They had some great suggestions on how to make our listing more usable and valuable to our customers

Ownerrez (OR) has a people problem. They start with the big lie "OR is going to save you time." It cost me weeks, and thousands of dollars just to get it running on the most basic level, having committed that much time and purse, one is reluctant to just bail, which is what we should have done. From there, their programming is sloppy, creating lots of pitfalls for the uninitiated to wander into. They could fix these issues pretty easily if they cared to, instead they have a video for that. Their support team is singularly unhelpful. They want you to watch literally hours of mind numbing videos, or frequently they just give you bad advice. Seldom to you ever get the information you need to solve a problem in one support ticket. Its hard to be specific without going on for pages. I'd call it death by a thousand cuts.

We currently use OR As our main platform. We have run into many issues that caused us to lose Reservations and the Resolution from OR Was unsatisfactory. The latest bug has led to canceled reservations from VRBO remaining on the owner calendar and blocking out future reservations and there is no way for us to delete them.OR Is half baked Software at best. So far we incurred more losses from OR than benefits. We pay hundreds of dollars in annual fees to them but losses from blocks in the calendar which don’t represent true reservations have caused losses over $10,000 a year. There is no return on investment with the Software. Stay away.

I love this company. They are the GOLD STANDARD for professionalism in the vacation rental industry. The software is completely dependent on YOU and what you put into it. I used OR for several years just for the basics, never really taking the time to dig into the power of the platform--just using the templates and calendar basically. It works fine for that. When we bought a new vacation rental, I knew I needed to automate things and decided to invest some effort. I am a NON-TECHIE. I used the documentation (easy to read and extensive) and went step-by-step through the process. If I didn't understand something, I watched the videos or looked for a webinar. Or posted in the "Unofficial" Facebook Group which is an awesome resource. I got really stuck a couple times and reached out to the help desk, getting exactly what I needed within a couple hours. From really nice people! I managed to go live via API with VRBO (didn't even know what that meant), designed templates and triggers for customer communication that have revolutionized the way I do business, AND I even "built" my own website. Yeah!! It looks intimidating and, yes, it takes time. Plan on spending a couple weekends to start. More if you're building your templates from scratch. But seriously, if I can do it, anyone can. It's worth the effort!

An invaluable service for folks in the property-rentals business is offered by the guys at OwnerRez. We were with them for a number of years until we recently exited the short-term vacation rentals biz after it was wrecked by COVID-19. For all aspects of getting organized in the rentals biz, we recommend OwnerRez without hesitation.
