Mike S. Ordered a special order painting in mid January, painting was never delivered. I have tried to contact them several times via email with no reply. So unfortunate since I have ordered and received some beautiful artwork from them.. This is an update, wrote this same review on their website, it was deleted, so unfortunate.

Endless spam emails.

I was told when I called about the artwork I purchased that it would have a rough texture and look like oil paint was on the canvas. I opened it today and it is perfectly smooth and looks like just a copy. I'm really disappointed since I told the person I spoke with that I wouldn't buy it if it didn't look like a real oil painting with the thickness of the paint. He assured me several times that that's what it would look like. Even your authenticity card that came with the painting States oil paint on canvas and it definitely doesn't look that way!

It was much darker than the picture - one side almost solid black. I loved the picture as shown on line, but I can’t use this one.

I spent several thousand dollars on two different orders of paintings in January. I received most of the paintings fairly quickly, but never received an “order shipped” notice, like I would get from any other company. That said, most of my paintings showed up within a couple of weeks. However, I received a list of my orders with “BO” written next to some of them. I assume that means “backordered.” Fast forward to June, I emailed them twice to inquire about my backordered paintings. No one ever emailed me back or called me, and the rest of the paintings were just magically sent to me within a few days. First of all, I shouldn’t have had to look for my order. The backordered paintings were clearly just sitting there for who knows how long. Secondly, they have a great product and concept, but REALLY need to improve their customer service. An order confirmation should be sent at the time of the order, and then a shipping notice, like EVERY OTHER COMPANY does that sells a product online. Lastly, customer service should at least RESPOND to inquiries. Overstockart.com, please don’t respond to this review stating that you have “award-winning customer service,” whatever that means. You don’t. Just improve it. Ask your team to communicate and respond to orders and inquiries.

I just received a 50% refund for a painting I returned...why not 100%?!

Wasted money on a LivingSocial coupon that I never used because overstockArt had their own deals that bested LS. Communication with overstock has been poor and frustrating for the most part and my credit card was charged immediately; I still do not have the product. They should not have charged my account until the product was delivered! Now, I don't need or want another picture and will lose a $50 coupon with LivingSocial in the next few weeks.

still havent received what i ordered 2 months ago!!!
