Pro: Outsource did recover my data. Cons: Took several days longer than date quoted for full recovery. Entire process took over a month. Cost was slightly more than 8 times HIGHER than the $60 advertised price for a flash drive repair. Communication during the process was nonexistent unless I initiated it. Problems downloading the recovered files electronically once the recovery was completed. But, I got the files back that I needed, so that's worth an "average" rating.

When my hard drive failed, I sought many different avenues to have it repaired. Outsource Data Recovery offered their services at a fraction of what others were charging. Their customer service is what sets them apart, from the first time I reported my problem to them until completion of my project I was kept abreast of every step taken. I am a completely satisfied customer.

Recovered about 500Gb of image files, with very few errors. I wish I'd known the return media was an additional charge—I'd have sent my own drive (which was an option.) Even so, reasonable charges for the service.

Was able to retrieve most of the data on our broken hard drive. Turn around time was pretty good. It wasn't clear that we could send our own hard drive for the data transfer instead of getting charged for a drive.

I couldn't ask for better service if I tried. They took the time to personally call and walked me thru the entire process right down to the shipping label!
