Thought that I had a completely bricked WD external drive that was missing its original enclosure and totally hopeless, but Outsource was able to crack the bridged encryption and retrieve my data. Excellent service!

Okay service. I did receive a small discount for having an educational company that was using the hard drive that I sent to repair, but the prices are much higher than they state on their website. After thousands of hard drives, you'd think they'd have an idea of how much a repair will cost when you tell them what's wrong with the hard drive ahead of time. And, when I was told I'd be able to access the information online for my 2TD hard drive a day later I received an email saying that there was a problem on their end and I had to wait a couple more days. That was just one of the inconveniences. The main reason as to why the service wasn't 5 Stars was because even though I paid for economy service, I was left in the dark for 4 weeks about where it was in the queue and when my hard drive would be finished. At this point in time, they do not have a system to let you know when emergency hard drives are sent in and being worked on ahead of yours. If you aren't in a hurry to get your hard drive back outsource Data Recovery isn't the best or the worst option.

Working with Donor Drives and Outsource was a great experience. I originally ordered an incorrect part but Alex and the team worked with me to correct the issue. Per his advice I ended up mailing in my Hard drive. Alex installed the correct part and provided advice over the phone all for a reasonable price. I would use this company again.
