I have been trying to open account, the process keeps me in a loop in signing the contract several times and waiting for approval. After 1 week the bank has called me to tell me for commercial reasons the account will not be opened without explaining specifically what hapened. I have 2 other european bank accounts, no issues with them at all.

Zeer slechte service, Ik wil 3 grote bedragen overboeken en heb een limiet van 50k op mijn rekening. Transactei 1 nee niet betaald. ik bellen nee alles is geblokkeerd. alle gegevens gecontroleerd ook heeft zei nog geprobeerd via de klantenservice over te boeken maar ook dat ging niet. In totaal 1,5 uur bezig geweest om over te boeken maar helaas morgen om 8 uur is de supervizer er pas weer om de blokade (als hij het mag doen) op te heffen. Het is niet de eerste x dat er uit het niets mijn rekening wordt geblokkeerd. Ik kan nu geen eens het bedrag overschrijven naar min spaarrekening. Zal binnenkort maar eens gaan denken voor een andere bank. zeer slechte service, en deze sprak nog geen eens goed nederlands.

They allow ACH transfer in and won't connect to 2 of my other banks to allow money transfer out. No explanation just won't allow it so the only option to access your money, is to close the account and wait for a check to be mailed. I wouldn't recommend opening an account here unless you never want to touch your money.

The WORST experience EVER in banking! No customer service NO History on transactions so you are blind to what’s happening in your account! When I called to complain about issues I was having THEY closed my account! No warning just punitive move! Got a check and letter saying “open Bank made a decision to close your account” WTF? You suck Open Bank!

Its just terrible. Open process is an absolute pain, and if you have any issue, forget it. Zero information in the app or website, even less support from their customer service.

OpenBank.us has blocked my account access for 6 days now because I have to change my contact phone number. Their iPhone App and Website repeatedly return confusing error messages, and their customer service has been totally useless. 1) Their iPhone App and Website consistently prevented me to change my contact phone number with a simple and confusing "Something went wrong, please try again" message. 2) Then, Even after I confirmed my identity using the authentication code through my verified email, the App still blocked my account access and required me to change my phone number which I can't do with neither the App nor their Website. 3) Their Customer Service is useless. I called their customer service at 833-833-8305 and talked to Agent Carlos regarding this issue on 4/22/2026. Per Carlos' request, I uploaded the images of driver's license through a link he texted me to confirm my identity. Carlos told me I have to wait couple days for getting my contact phone number changed. It seemed totally normal to him that their customer has to wait for days just to change contact phone number. 4) Two days later, on 4/24/2026, still without access to my account, I called customer service again, first spoke to Agent Will and then Supervisor Pat. I was told that my phone number change request was escalated and still pending in"back office" and I had to wait couple more days. Pat also told me this is the normal process and normal speed at OpenBank.us; additionally, she also told me it was not unusual for their App or Website fail to update customer contact phone number, so their customers often have to go through what I am experiencing and wait for days without the account access - to her, this is all normal and ok, I and other customers just have to be more patient. 5) Today, 4/28/2026, I called the customer service again, and spoke with Agent Joshua and Supervisor Pat for an update. After waiting on the phone for over 60 minutes, the issue is still not resolved - my contact phone number still is not updated so I still don't have access to my account. Pat told me that the issue should be resolved by tomorrow, but there is no promise as there is no time frame requirement for OpenBank.us to update customer contact phone number. 6) During this entire process, I called their customer service three times, but I have not received any update or communication from OpenBank.us at all. This is the quality of customer service you can expect when you become a OpenBank.us customer. I will try to update this review while waiting for the issue to be resolved.

Das habe ich schon so oft gehört ich glaube nicht mehr daran . Hallo leute wieder mal Probleme mit Open Bank habe seit 15 Tagen konto gesperrt trotzdem zwei Abbuchungen habe zweimal angerufen und reklamiert sie können mir nicht erklären wer das abgebucht hat und werde am Telefon nicht mal richtig angehört sie lassen einen nicht mehr ausreden lesen wie automatisierte Antworten und wenn man dann drauf steht dass man möchte wissen Wer diese Beträge abgebucht hat wird man alleine gelassen und dann aufgelegt Bevor man fertig ist einfach Katastrophe Ich möchte meine Konto kündigen kann aber nicht weil ich Geld auf dem Konto habe Das Geld kann ich aber nicht abziehen weil mein Konto gesperrt wurde am Hotline kriegt man keine vernünftigen Antworten nur man soll warten Geduld haben warten Geduld haben Das Problem ist nur wenn man drei Tage später noch mal nachfragt weiß der person am Hotline nichts Das vor drei Tagen gesprochen wurde wie man verblieben ist und behaupten ich hätte keine Unterlagen eingereicht Die gefordert worden Dabei habe ich Unterlagen per Mail und dashboard in der. Von wegen privat kontaktiert dann kann ich nur drüber lachen das ist doch Witz Die wissen ganz genau worum es geht die reagieren nur wenn man schlechte Bewertung schreibt 🤔🤣🤣

Transfers canceled with no notice. limit on the money I can move out though there's no limit on the amount of money I can move in. I'm moving my money out of this bank as fast as I can and I would advise you to do the same.
