About Opinions 4 Good
Founded in 2010 as a philanthropic online market research panel, Op4G invites its panel members to participate in paid online research surveys, and then requires they donate a portion of their incentives - at least 25% and up to 100% - back to one of its 300+ non-profit organizations. Op4G’s unique approach to recruiting yields a highly engaged group of quality people who, as respondents, are dedicated to helping market research clients fulfill information needs. Since beginning client delivery in June 2011 clients' incentive funds have allowed panel members to donate over $449,000 to Op4G’s growing number of non-profit partners. Panel member trust is key to quality data. Each element of Op4G is designed to fiercely protect Members' privacy. Every activity is opt-in, every survey participant is anonymous, and every member is in full control of their secure information. Op4g is headquartered in Portsmouth, NH and operates globally. To learn more about our client services or how to begin a partnership that benefits your charity, please contact support(at)Op4G(dot)com or visit http://www.Op4G.com

I am always not eligible for almost every survey you provide. Also, many times I get kicked out after verifying my humanity.

I haven't been able to open most…
I haven't been able to open most surveys over last few months. I continue to have a balance for payouts and therefore feel I'm stuck with this site always.

As a white, over 60/65 female I get ‘let go’ from many surveys. Sometimes there is an Error 404 message.

Hi Rebecca,
Thanks for leaving us a review. We value you as a panelist. While most of our surveys are geared towards currently employed individuals, we do have general consumer studies for which a retired/semi-retired individual may qualify. Granted, this is not the bulk of our work, but we do offer such opportunities.
I'm sorry your experience hasn't been better. Please let me know how we can improve. Feel free to email me personally at [email protected].
Best wishes and stay safe,
Ryan
I am a member of many survey sites but…
I am a member of many survey sites but op4g continues to befuddled me.
Although I receive many invites, there's always some issue in taking, or trying to take, the surveys, e.g., problems with the vpn, completing surveys but no payout, landing a nonsensical final page.
The dollar amounts are great for payout but getting into, or out of, a survey (with payment) seems impossible.
I understand dq'ing, surveys fill up, etc., but to date I've only made $4. On just one of my other sites, I'm up to $500 paid to me.
Does anyone else have this problem?
And when I submit a ticket, the answers either make no sense or are much too technical.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks so much!

Good morning Bridget,
Thanks for reaching out.
I've looked into your account details and you are consistently getting flagged for fraudulent behavior by our third-party security technology partner. This system is used by other major survey companies and calibrated so as to eject users who match certain criteria (based on your browser/device data that is anonymously submitted to us). Users who frequent other survey websites are at additional risk for being ejected from surveys because the data collates across platforms (if you are a frequent survey taker, as you've indicated, you get a "reputation score" that carries to whomever uses the same anti-fraud technology). The error page indicates that you've tripped that particular alarm. I've also noticed that you have consistently spent too long on the ReCaptcha page (the one where you verify your humanity by selecting images). If you take over a minute to complete the verification, you'll be redirected to the error page. We would advise that you only enter into surveys when they can demand your full attention. Finally, there was an instance where your IP (think of it as your "digital address") changed upon accessing a survey. This typically indicates the use of a VPN (virtual private network) that some fraudsters utilize to mask their true location. For instance, we only allow users from select countries to participate. We routinely have to weed out panelists who try to work around this condition. This is against our terms and conditions: https://opinions4good.com/terms-and-conditions/.
We try to be very lenient as some people use VPNs for legitimate reasons. Given that we don't have complete control over our technology partner's parameters (they collect dozens of data points every time you click on a survey), we cannot without further investigation determine exactly why you are experiencing the errors.
In terms of "not being credited," completed surveys can take 2-4 weeks to review by our clients, depending on length of interview. We manually credit survey takers for their efforts based on whether or not their data is accepted by the client. Speeders, people who don't answer honestly or thoroughly, and "professional survey takers" who use means to bypass security are all typically rejected upon review. We are implementing an update to assign a status to each survey attempt ("pending review," "accepted," "rejected," et cetera) in the near future. Opinions4Good *does not* get compensated for completed survey responses that are rejected by our client. This is the nature of online quantitative research. We try to give our clients only the best data. And, to that end, we have anti-fraud measures in place, both internally and through our technology partner.
We *always* try to work with panelists when they have an issue. If you continue to have issues, feel free to contact me directly at [email protected]. We understand that not knowing why you are unable to take surveys is frustrating. However, we pay out thousands upon thousands of panelists a year. We also encourage our panelists to donate to nonprofits through our platform (you can assign a portion of your earnings to a nonprofit of your choice through your dashboard). To date, we've raised nearly $500,000.
Thanks for your patience and have a lovely day! I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Andrea,
We pay out panelists in the following manner:
-Panelist accrues $10 or more in a given month (being credited for completed surveys can take 2-3 weeks given that each response is manually reviewed). See your actual balance in "Earnings details" tab, which tells you which month your earnings were earned in.
-Panelist is paid out on the last day of the following month for previous month's earnings over $10 (e.g., earn $25 by January 31, get paid on February 28. Earn $11 by March 31, get paid out on April 30, et cetera). Any amount under $10 just rolls over to the next month. The current "Next payout processing date" just reflects the next general payout date for everyone who is eligible for a payout (having earned $10 or more the previous month). We are implementing an update so that it reflects the next payout date specific to the user.
Our average response time for tickets is under 24 hours. We apologize if your case took longer--our support staff works M-F, so if you submitted a ticket on the weekend you may have gotten a delayed response. Our bad! Please feel free to reach me directly next time at [email protected].
Thanks for being an Opinions4Good Panelist.

too many errors
too many errors
constantly when I click a link for a survey, I get the message that "there was a problem loading the survey", I've given up on contacting support, they are worthless and don't try to help, they always "blame" the client... so if its a client putting surveys into op4g, where is the QA team to assure that the survey works? Thus op4g is a poor survey panel

Hi Randy,
Thanks for giving us some feedback with your review.
That message can be issued to users who have already attempted a given survey with another panel website. Sometimes survey opportunities are issued across multiple platforms in order to fill a sample size. And while Op4G sends out invitations to its panelists, the client is programming the survey and hosting it off-platform. We do full-service studies that are hosted solely on our platform as well, but off-platform studies are much more common.
In the future, if you have an issue, please reach out to me directly at [email protected] and I'll do my best to resolve your issues.
We always strive to improve our platform user experience!
Hoping your 2020 is great,

op4g review- it’s good when it works...
The most infuriating thing with this site is when you spend a good chunk of time answering questions- and not just the preliminary questions- and then you get a notification that you don’t qualify to take the survey- AFTER you’ve just spent a huge amount of time on it. Another thing is that sometimes surveys will just disappear! I’ll click on the link and an Error message will come up, I don’t mean a message saying that I don’t qualify or a message saying I need to use a computer, but just the words ERROR in red with no explanation. Then when I log back into my account the survey is just gone! This has happened numerous times and it always seems to happen on the high dollar surveys. I have written to customer service but have never received any help. These are my biggest complaints. . It’s easy to waste quite a bit of time and coming up empty handed.

Hello Kelly,
I'm sorry you've had a frustrating experience. When a survey disappears, it could be for several reasons. Our IT department states that it can happen 1) if you double clicked on the survey link (each link can be clicked on only once); 2) if the client closed the survey because it reached needed number of completes; 3) if the client paused the survey because of some issue with it; 4) if your answer did not match what client was looking for and you have been disqualified (which doesn't seem to be the case here); or 5) you are trying to access survey from your cell phone instead of a desktop or laptop as we recommend.
We always advise our panelists to access their survey invitations as soon as possible in order to avoid survey being closed because needed number of completes got reached.
Additionally, "off-platform" surveys often ask for additional demographic data. On-Platform surveys are hosted by Opinions for Good, while Off-Platform surveys are hosted by our clients. Off-Platform surveys are a bit trickier for you to qualify for. Because we receive less information about the demographic requirements for Off-Platform surveys, we are less able to accurately connect you with a qualifying survey. As a result, Off-Platform surveys may disqualify you further into the survey than seems necessary.
We apologize for the inconvenience and are actively working to better target members with the appropriate surveys. In the meantime, feel free to contact me directly with issues at [email protected] if you have any more questions.
Thank you for your patience and we hope that you continue to be a part of the Opinions4Good panel!
Best wishes,
Ryan B. | Membership Communications Specialist @ Op4G
