I liked the material, however I needed a bit longer than 6 months to complete the course. Sadly I wasnt able to finish it in time.

Hi Savannah, Please contact our office - we work with students to help them get done - if you just need a few extra days we will give you a short extension - otherwise we have paid course extensions for 30 days at a time.
I would not choose Online Training Institute again for another course. This course was extremely difficult to get through, not because of the material itself, but because of the way it was presented. I barely made it to the end because the format made studying feel more like endless reading rather than an effective learning experience. A large portion of the course consisted of fill-in-the-blank questions and random practice questions that did not feel like they were preparing me for the actual exam. The true and false questions were also not helpful because almost every answer was “true.” After a while, I didn’t even need to fully read the question anymore because the pattern was so predictable. Some quizzes even repeated the exact same questions within the same quiz, which made it feel like memorization rather than learning. The fill-in-the-blank questions were also extremely frustrating. The system was very sensitive, and answers would be marked wrong even when the response was the same meaning and wording, simply because of a missing comma, dash, or an “s” at the end of a word. This made the process feel more focused on guessing the exact formatting the program wanted rather than understanding the information. The course also lacked engagement. It was mostly just reading page after page with no videos, interactive lessons, visual explanations, or other tools to help keep students focused and retain the information. For a course that is meant to prepare students for a licensing exam, I expected a more engaging and structured learning experience. I believe this course could greatly improve by adding more interactive content, better practice questions that reflect exam-style questions, videos or instructor explanations, and a more user-friendly quiz system. Unfortunately, my experience was frustrating, and I would choose a different provider if I needed to take another course.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry you didn't like the 2-20 Conversion course. It is text based, as advertised, and designed to take agents with some experience through the required material as quickly as possible while helping them learn what they may not yet know. Our courses are text-based with questions after nearly every page of content, because many people learn better in this type of text based course. There are many fill in the blank answers, and that is because the act of typing an answer will help to lock it in your mind. True-False questions are there to help you remember what is important, not to confuse or trip you up. Our lessons are not graded, but they do tell you whether an answer is right, wrong, or not exactly right - but possibly close enough. Each answer has an explanation to help you remember the correct answer moving forward. Our courses are explicitly advertised as not containing any required videos. Some have short explainer videos, but most don't. Pretty much every page of every lesson has a question to help you lock the important information into your mind. In our experience this is helpful for most students, but not everyone likes this format. Every course contains lessons to explain the material, quizzes to test your knowledge, and a final exam. Some of our courses have added material at the end to help students study for their state exam, but not all do. I will let the instructor know that you think future students will benefit from a wider variety of questions. Again, thank you for your feedback, it is appreciated.
I just finished the personal lines insurance course and state test. I have used many online training programs, I felt this one was left me very unprepared for the state test. I used the flash cards and all of the tools offered and knew it well. This program however, I feel, concentrated on things that weren't important and hardly covered and totally left out A LOT of things that were on the test. Thankfully I did question the thoroughness of the program and decided to use a different program for the exam prep and was very happy I did or I for sure would have failed the state test. I came across definitions and information in the exam prep course that I'd never seen or heard while doing this course. I was thoroughly disappointed in how lacking and unprepared this course was. It was somewhat easy, compared to other online courses I've completed in the past but I'm not looking for easy, I need to be prepared and pass the state test. Thankfully, I did the exam prep with a different site so I was still able to pass the state test the first time but had it not been for that, I for sure would have failed.

Florida provides an outline, which each course is required to cover and if there are areas of the outline that are emphasized differently on the testing that can become an issue.
