They charged me $119 even though I only tried it once and it DIDNT work. Then they refused to refund me and sent a snarky response. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. AVOID OCTOPARSE AT ALL COSTS.

Perte de temps et arnaque, j'ai passé plusieurs heures à scraper en utilisant un modèle alors qu'il est bien écrit en toutes lettres que c'est un modèle gratuit et après avoir laissé scrapper pendant 6 heures et ayant rendu mon ordi inutilisable pendant ce temps-là. On me demande de payer à la fin pour exporter les données. Dites-l'avant que c'est payant et non pas "sans frais" !!!

Useless. Nothing is free without signing up and adding in your card details. I expected to be able to test one download to make sure it gave me what I wanted, but you don't even get that. Ironically leaving a review here given it's a screen scraping tool that has a Trustpilot template.

Horrible service and difficult to cancel the trial period, no confirmation of cancellation, reminder emails for subscription renewal. For this reason alone I cannot recommend Octoparse.

Be very careful with the 'free trial.' I was charged $119 when it ended, even though I never used the paid features. I contacted support the same day – within minutes – asking for a refund. Request denied. Their policy: once charged, no refunds, period. I learned the hard way.

Same as everyone else here, scammed out of $189 because they won't refund after the trial ended. Never used it. Proper scam and the company should be ashamed of itself.

BEWARE! Dear Friends, Avoid this company at all cost. i wanted to extract data to see what products sell most. In the end, I didn't get any data, I was trying to cancel the free trial before it will expire. I got a surprise -the charge of the US $299 on my bank account. I contacted my bank to dispute this unauthorized charge with the bank and 10 days later I received the letter from Wells Fargo that charge was correct and authorized. Now, I am turning this incident to California General Attorney. I called to Octoparse but there no life agent but only prerecorded messenger in Chinese language. Octoparse charged me monthly fee after I cancelled the Free Trial.
