NucampReviews of nucamp.co

Throughout my journey of searching for an online Bootcamp, I came across Nucamp. Upon reviewing reviews that were left, I only heard good about Nucamp. This is partially what led me to my decision of choosing Nucamp. I also reviewed what type of content Nucamp was teaching and found it to align with what my interests are.

I enrolled in Nucamp because of the affordability and the ability to fit it into my work schedule. During the course I had a bit of difficulty adjusting to the format. What I mean is that I am sort of a loaner at figuring things out, and this course or the industry is not designed that way. It is encouraged to lean on classmates, former students and instructor after 20 minutes of struggling. This format took me a solid 3 weeks to finally implement. Even so, I went far beyond 20 minutes 😩. My instructor was extremely knowledgeable and patient. He spent time explaining concepts to me outside of workshop, and was responsive to messages. I feel like going forward, I will definitely spend more time asking questions of both peers and instructor. Overall, I'd recommend, but be ready to put in time and ask questions.

Pretty good alternative that's both affordable and very educational. Nucamp has a good teachers and a very receptive and cooperative community.

I enrolled in Nucamp because I hated my job in healtcare. I semi-knowledgeable about computers & feel like I can figure out new programs, but did not have a lot of coding knowledge. I have learned a lot at Nucamp and feel good about my decision to sign up for the "Complete Software Engenieering" path. The instructors have been knowlegeable and helpful. It's challenging but rewarding. I mostly like that they teach you how to learn new things. No one can memorize every possible application of code, so it is important to learn how to learn. The fact that you have access to the courses after you have completed them is a huge benefit that I didnt even realize I would get. Going back to review so that I can truly understand why I am doing something is paramount to my success in my opinion... Not to mention that Nucamp was MUCH cheaper than other courses I looked at! The extra money I saved has allowed me to spend more time learning at home instead of having to work full time just to pay for a course + living expenses. I highly recommend Nucamp. Be prepared to learn and have time to practice on your own. It's also important to stick with it even if you get frustrated. Remember to learn how to find the answers you dont know without asking for help every time. I still have courses to go, but to someone who is looking to do this and wanting to know if you can learn what you need to learn at Nucamp in order to get a job, I believe that you absolutely can. All of the camps will teach you the same stuff... so in my opinion, making sure that you are practicing on your own and constantly learning is key to being successful. Nucamp has been great, and really looking forward to continuing classes with them.

I really enjoyed being part of this bootcamp i would say that 4 weeks did not seem like sufficient time to completely grasp all the basic concept btu overall I think it did set me on the right path and i have learned so much.

I like how you can learn on your own during the week and still have time to keep your job. I love how affordable it is. It was right for me.

Excellent Front-End Bootcamp, but you should be ready to study hard because topics are consume at a fast pace and there is no time aside to go very deep into things. However, you should be able to understand what is really essential and move on. Later, you can go deep into things by yourself.

If you are like me, you might be considering making a transition from a totally different career, or maybe you're interested in programming just to improve your skillsets or even add a new one. Regardless of your position, I am a firm believer that you should always shoot your shot. 20 minutes of doing something is more valuable than 20 hours thinking about it. This saying motivated me to jump right in and at least if you are unsure about what to expect, I think Nucamp offers an excellent opportunity through their Website Fundamentals course which gives you the run-down on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and is only about a month. It taught me a lot and convinced me to continue my journey into changing careers and breaking into an industry I always felt I should be a part of.
