This app is horrendously stupid and idiotic. I had to do something about adjectives, and apparently the word “fast” isn’t an adjective? It is 😭 “the fast cheetah”, fast is an adjective to describe the cheetah. It feels like every question was created by AI before AI was as advanced as it is now. Genuinely just make people write it because maybe it’ll ACTUALLY MAKE SENSE 😭 just because ai has “intelligence” in its name doesn’t make it intelligent, AI is the dumbest thing out there. It knows nothing, and just takes from everything else, like a student cheating on a test by taking everybody else’s answers

NoRedInk is an application that I despise because it kills the beautiful act of writing and turns it into a boring exercise in which there is only one way to complete each task successfully. The platform's idea of "personalization," which involves using my favorite personalities or things I enjoy to fill out sentences, only succeeds in annoying me with repetitive questions, as they offer no true educational benefits and are very patronizing. NoRedInk does not teach me how to write an excellent essay but rather drills me on commas and parts of speech until I am dizzy from boredom. In addition, the mastery concept in NoRedInk is based on a never-ending circle of "drill-and-kill," during which everything in language becomes correct or incorrect by clicking on a button, draining every story and argument of all their nuances. Being a part of NoRedInk is equivalent to working in a grammar factory whose only goal is to make the progress bar perfect.
