When a customer requests to cancel, we mark the account at that time and submit the request to the utility to begin processing. This coordination ensures that all necessary changes are completed, but it can result in solar credits and related Nexamp invoices continuing during the transition. As noted in your agreement, this process can take up to 90 days and reflects how community solar programs are structured. Nexamp provides solar credits that reduce your utility bill, and we only bill after your utility confirms those credits. These credits are always billed at a guaranteed discount, typically 10 percent. Because solar production and energy usage vary throughout the year, we recommend viewing your savings on an annual basis. If your electricity usage has changed, we would be happy to reassess your subscription to better match your current needs and help you maximize your savings.
