NEW SOUTH WINDOWS: $50,000 INSTALLATION, 3 YEARS OLD, AND NOW ABOUT $15,000 IN DAMAGE, INVESTIGATION AND REPAIRS If you’re considering NewSouth Windows, please do your research first and read the BBB complaints and reviews, especially those mentioning leaks and water intrusion. The previous owner of my home spent approximately $50,000 on NewSouth impact windows and doors installed in 2023. Only about three years later, I’m now facing approximately $15,000 in investigation, repairs, legal costs, and related expenses after discovering significant water intrusion and hidden damage around the windows. The problem appears to have been occurring for months before we discovered it. It became serious enough that I paid $2,525 for a Cause and Origin forensic engineering investigation, and as the cost of correcting the damage continued to grow, I also had to hire an attorney to help protect my interests and evaluate the appropriate legal action. I then hired another licensed and insured company to correct the exterior sealing. Their $4,200 proposal calls for removing all of the old sealant around 10 windows and 2 double doors, thoroughly cleaning the perimeters, applying commercial grade Sikaflex 15LM sealant, and addressing screws in the slider drain channels. What made this even more frustrating was NewSouth’s response. We purchased the home July 10, 2026. The original owner did not initiate NewSouth’s warranty transfer within 30 days, and when I contacted them August 27, they declined to honor the remaining warranty because we were slightly outside that window, despite the original customer being involved and the windows being only about three years old. NewSouth later sent someone to my home. I assumed they were finally coming to assess the damage and reconsider the situation. Instead, the representative did not seem to know why he had been sent and had to call the office. My understanding was that they could potentially quote me to fix the work. After everything above, why would I pay NewSouth again? I wasn’t the person who chose NewSouth or paid the original approximately $50,000, but unfortunately I’m the homeowner now paying the price. If you already have NewSouth windows, I strongly recommend having the exterior sealing independently inspected. If you’re considering buying from them, read the complaints and ask very specific questions about installation quality, water intrusion, sealing, warranty transfers, and what happens if something goes wrong. For an installation completed in 2023, this experience has been completely unacceptable to me. The photos, videos, $4,200 corrective proposal, $2,525 forensic engineering investigation, and the fact that I’ve now had to involve legal counsel speak for themselves.

DO NOT EXPECT CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER THEY GET YOUR MONEY I am absolutely furious and extremely disappointed with New South Window Solutions. We hired this company to install sliders and a door in our home. What should have been a professional installation has turned into an ongoing nightmare of unresolved problems, damaged property, unsuccessful repair attempts, and unacceptable customer service. The doors have problems that still have not been properly fixed. One of our biggest concerns is that we were told it is normal for water to get in between the doors and on the inside track. We were then told that water would only get in during heavy rain. That is extremely concerning to us, especially because we live in Southwest Florida, where hurricanes and tropical storms can bring significant amounts of heavy rain. Being told that water intrusion is normal during the very weather conditions we regularly experience is not an acceptable solution or explanation for newly installed doors. Instead of receiving a clear explanation and an actual solution to the problem, we were essentially told to accept it as normal. Meanwhile, the door problems remain unresolved, including our concerns about water getting into the area between the doors and inside track. The most infuriating part is the project manager’s complete lack of communication. Calls and messages have gone unanswered. We should not have to repeatedly call and chase down the person responsible for our project just to get a response. If you are going to take someone’s money and manage their installation, you should have the professionalism and courtesy to communicate when there are problems. And then there is the damage to our dresser. During the installation, our dresser was damaged/ruined. New South did send one of their installers out to try to fix it. Unfortunately, the attempted repair only made the dresser worse. After that, they sent another person out with furniture repair markers. The problem was that he apparently didn’t even know what had happened to the dresser or what the actual problem was. Sending someone out with furniture markers without apparently understanding the damage is not an acceptable solution. So now we have a dresser that was damaged during the installation, an attempted repair that made it worse, and another attempted repair that did not address the actual problem. Mistakes and accidents can happen. What matters is how a company responds afterward. In our experience, the response has been extremely disappointing. Instead of properly addressing the problems and taking responsibility, we’ve had unsuccessful repair attempts, poor communication, and unanswered calls and messages. This isn’t just about one mistake. It’s about the lack of accountability, lack of communication, and failure to properly resolve the problems. We paid for a professional home improvement project and expected professional workmanship and customer service. Instead, we’re left dealing with door issues, water concerns, damaged property, unsuccessful repair attempts, and a project manager who will not return our calls or messages. New South Window Solutions needs to understand that once you take someone’s money, your responsibility doesn’t end when the installers leave. You need to stand behind your work and take responsibility when something goes wrong. Our experience has been extremely frustrating, and we are very disappointed with how this entire situation has been handled. Think very carefully before hiring this company. Document everything, get everything in writing, and make sure you understand exactly how problems and property damage will be handled before you sign. Keep in mind that Window Nation bought out New South Window Solutions and Armorvue so all the same company now.

I purchased eight windows from New South and 2020 installation was good passed all inspections from the county I have called New South once on my screens and they came out and repaired at no cost now I have recommended several people and I know of three which went to New South totaling over $100,000 and then now New South wants to treat me like this here it is September 2026 I have a cracked window and New South does not want to warranty it I called the Altamonte location no one told me about a $200 service fee when I called the salesman unfortunately he's no longer working there due to New South has sold the company to another company so all warranties are now no good new South is not only lying to the consumer but they're also stealing the consumers money it is very sad that you cannot trust a company when they come to sell you a product as far as I'm concerned New South and their new merger company armor should rot and you know what

They were eager to take the deposit and get the sale but the communication from that point was poor. We had to call often to get an install date which came months later. Install crew was good but it’s been weeks and we still Don’t have the city permit signed off on and can’t get anyone at new south solutions in wpb to return a call.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I believe other homeowners deserve to know about my experience. My concerns are not primarily about the appearance of the windows—they are about transparency, documentation, and confidence that the installation was completed according to the manufacturer's requirements and applicable building codes. During this project, I repeatedly asked for the manufacturer's installation instructions for my windows. I was initially told that there were no installation instructions available. After conducting my own research, I located what appears to be the manufacturer's installation guide online and provided it back to the company. Later, I also received written installation procedures from the company. That inconsistency significantly reduced my confidence in the information I was being given. As I continued reviewing the installation, I identified several issues that I believed warranted further investigation, including concerns about whether exterior drainage (weep) holes may be obstructed, whether the bathroom window is properly safety glazed, and whether the installation followed the manufacturer's coastal installation requirements applicable to our area. Because of these concerns, I have requested permit records through the Freedom of Information Act and am pursuing an independent municipal inspection so the installation can be evaluated objectively. My goal is simply to determine whether the work complies with the manufacturer's installation requirements and applicable building codes. Throughout this process, I have documented my concerns in writing and requested supporting documentation rather than making assumptions. I believe homeowners should receive clear answers to reasonable questions involving permits, installation standards, inspections, and warranty coverage. I sincerely hope everything ultimately proves to have been installed correctly. However, based on my experience, I would encourage anyone considering this company to request copies of the permit, manufacturer installation instructions, inspection approvals, and warranty documentation before and during the installation process, and to keep thorough records of all communications. This review reflects my personal experience and the questions that remain unresolved while I await the results of the public records request and independent inspection.

A month later update: I lowered NewSouth's rating from 3 to 2 stars. We failed our inspection. Missing screws. Stripped screws that just fall out. No locking mechanism installed on patio sliders. Now I get to waste another day off of work waiting for NewSouth to amend their work, then ANOTHER day waiting for re-inspection (and they just cancelled THAT!). They don't even send a rep to the inspection. Most of this stuff could have been resolved ahead of or even during the inspection, but after $50,000, they leave it to the homeowner. I found out NewSouth has been taken over by another company (Window Nation, so beware there, too), but that's no excuse for the mostly-terrible job we've experienced from the office staff. Hardly any communication, unfulfilled promises, taking the work crew off our house to "more important" jobs, running our credit for credit line increases without our permission. It's NOT been a good experience, and I wish I'd gone with another company. THE ONLY SHINING STAR HERE, AND WHY NEWSOUTH GOT TWO STARS INSTEAD OF ONE, IS ROY and JESSICA'S install crew. (prior) Day 2 Update: The installation crew (6) is really saving the day for my review of this company. This installation crew is doing an awesome, fantastic job so far! Prior review: Financing was a major issue. With a 760 credit score, I expected full approval based on the quoted payment schedule (~$7k deposit, then progress payments). Instead, the lender only approved $25k, and NewSouth immediately charged the full amount upfront, claiming the schedule only applied if fully financed. That also triggered the 18-month no-interest period in December—even though installation hadn’t begun 4 months later. That feels misleading and unfair. The contract stated a 14–18 week start window, and they used the full 18 weeks with ZERO proactive communication. Every update required me calling. First it was “early March,” then “mid March,” then suddenly a 1-day notice to clear space around all windows/doors. After an all-night scramble, they didn’t even start work—just delivered windows for a few hours. Now our home is disrupted, rooms displaced, and we’re still looking through old windows while the new ones sit outside. We have ~18 openings, and a 2-person crew for a 3-day job already seemed tight—now worse after losing the first day to delivery logistics. Also, no consistent point of contact: Rey → Salvatore → Barb → Kevin (with a WindowNation email?). Confusing and concerning. Overall, a stressful experience due to poor communication and expectation management. I regret not choosing another company. Will update after completion.

Elderly couple will be going through second hurricane season with windows that have failed the county inspection. Company doesn’t care at all and is doing nothing to remedy the situation. Absolutely sickening and would never purchase anything from them. Thousands of dollars scammed from elderly people is seriously poor customer service.

I am filing this complaint due to ongoing communication failures, lack of accountability, and unresolved service issues. My experience with Armorvue / Window Nation / New South Window has been one of the most stressful home improvement experiences we have ever encountered. From start to finish, communication has been disorganized and follow-up has been nonexistent. I have attempted to resolve these issues through the proper chain of command, including: • District Regional Manager – Brad Sheffield • Store Manager – Preston Koch • Production Manager – John Ziles • Service Technician – Ryan • Customer Service / Scheduling – Loretta and Gladys Despite multiple calls and emails, responses have gone unanswered for days and sometimes weeks. Escalating the matter through management has not produced meaningful resolution. When issues arose with the installed windows, the company failed to take accountability or provide a timely, professional resolution. For a company that markets itself as “premium,” the level of service provided does not reflect that standard. For the amount of money invested in this project, the lack of responsiveness and accountability is unacceptable. It has been frustrating, exhausting, and time-consuming to attempt to get someone to take responsibility. As of today, February 27, 2026, I still have not received adequate response or resolution. I strongly caution consumers to thoroughly research before signing any agreement with this company.
